Planning to do a Laguna Loop this Holy Week with my wife (via Vespa)...

Since its Holy Week, it will be a Laguna Loop/Visita Iglesia

Anyone here who has visited any of the following churches?

    San Pedro Apostol Parish

San Isidro Labrador Parish Church - Poblacion, Calauan, Laguna (Diocese of San Pablo)

Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Pagsanjan)

The Roman Catholic Parish of San Santiago Apostol, Paete, Laguna

Windmill Farm Pililla Rizal - not a church, but since we're already in the area

Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Mary Magdalene - Imatong, Pililla, Rizal (Diocese of Antipolo)

    Sta.Ursula Parish Church (Binagonan, Rizal)

    Antipolo Cathedral

Baka lang magustuhan mo din..You might want to include Victoria but only because madame nagtitinda na makakain sa gilid ng simbahan ng mga lutong itik hehe, so around lunch ka dapat andun. I prefer Pakil over Paete church tho. Ung Mabitac church ay nasa ibabaw, can't recall ilang steps ung hagdan nila mula sa kalsada...

I am so glad that you'll be exploring Laguna (100% pure Tagalog/Laguna here)

If you're going to Calauan then you could go to San Pablo Cathedral na rin? Also, there are lots of nice places to eat in San Pablo. Why would you skip Pagsanjan and Paete pala? Those are nice towns.

My favorite in Laguna is Liliw. It's such a quaint little town. Their Church is nice too, I think it's made of bricks? Yun nga lang super out of the way, dadayuhin mo talaga. The underground cemetery in Nagcarlan is near Liliw din. I think it's often a setting sa movies hehe.

I think Paete limited parking talaga everywhere Pero sa Pagsanjan, last time I saw it, malawak naman parking, unless they have renovations ongoing now.

We're probably using our Vespa's for the loop, so we'll see if we can maintain Paete and Pagsanjan since they're along the way naman.

Any recommended coffee shops/street kakanin that's near the mentioned churches?

Late reply, but in Pagsanjan if you haven't been to Calle Arco, I recommend this resto. You can order their sinigang. Then you can go to Aling Taleng for Halo halo (it got expensive na) Value for money yung Terima Kasi (local recommended)Buy bread at Ilaya Bakery na rin (yung ensyamada nila which a tsikoteer told me is called Pusit pala)

Paete, I forgot the name of the quaint cafe there, it's in the middle of the artsy stores there, pero local recommended yung Benga Restaurant.

BUT BUT BUT my favorite talaga in Laguna is Liliw! Even their church is so nice. I recommend Arabella restaurant. Sinuyod namin dati Liliw looking for the Uraro that my Tita likes when they sell din pala in Makati =
