me and my friends are planning to go here third week of may, on a weekday.
got my info from this site:
http://www.hundredislands.ph/
already did some research, usual travel time from manila takes 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
we are bringing our own vehicle to go there. and kami kami lang din ang magmamaneho.
we'd like to go "spelunking", island hopping, snorkeling and of course swimming and just enjoy the view there.
since this is our first time going here, can you guys recommend any "bangkero" or people that offers cheap tour packages? and also, since were going to sleep there for one or two nights, suggestions for good rooms/lodging are also welcome.
btw, this is for 9-10 people. TIA.

from what I know there are very limited rooms/accomodations available on the island itself. what you can do is pick one island and camp out for the night. just remember to bring lots of fresh water because there are no facilities available on the small islands.

we were there three weeks ago
on our way back to manila, we did the via camiling, tarlac route
i would surmise that from camiling to lucap, alaminos, it would be about 2-2.5 hours (via sual ito)
re a nice small island with sand and good swimming area, try nyo lopez island

boat expense is P1800 + P200 for tip (dalawa silang crew - kapitan/driver and conductor/boarding officer, nyahahaha)
this got us from lucap to governors island (for the hundred steps and photo shoot), the cuenco cave, a jaunt around lopez, marcos, children's, milagrosa and quezon islands, dropped us off at lopez island for a 2 hour stay then picked us up and took us back to lucap
the boat can easily accomodate 10 people
if you have kids with you, best to stay in children's island. shallower and calmer waters
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
