boybi, yun nga yun. drive straight ahead until you reach the poblacion of rosales, then take a left at the triangular junction after the public market. yun lang naman ata ang confusing part ng route for the first timers. after that, marami nang directional signs. i have no update about the current route condition pero all i can say is that the roads are good. syempre asingan connection yan ni bossing tabako!
magastos ma-traffic going to baguio napakagastos. suggest ko sa inyo travel at night or early dawn na lang talaga. we saved a lot of gas by doing so. half full-tank from Expressway to Baguio, another half-full tank for a 5-day going-around activity in Baguio, and another half full-tank from Baguio back to Manila. Ford Explorer dala namin.
even my dad was surprised kasi daw pag naalis sila ng day time from Manila to Tarlac lang and back using the Explorer halos ubos 3/4 tank ng gasolina dahil sa tindi ng traffic.
ang laking difference talaga ng night trip....a sure nice way to beat rising fuel prices and the unbearable summer heat!
anyone here has gone far beyond up north like ilocos? any latest news on the road conditions?
Direction will never be a problem for me but the road conditions really bothers. In a couple of weeks i'll be driving off there para as early as now i could plan ahead.
Yes, I know the Urdaneta route that salonika is talking about, but it's really difficult to put it down in writing. Also, some of the parts of that route are narrow; nahihirapan nga ako pag yung Sedona ang pinasok ko dun kasi parang tricycle lang ang ginamit nung engineer nung sinukat nya ang lapad ng kalsada
ingat lang sa pagpasok sa mga narrow roads lalo na yun matalahib, baka makatsamba kayo ng small groups of NPA (yun tipong walang kumander na kasama). sa Tarlac mayroon ganito kami napasukan dati kapal ng talahib. then mga 1 year or 2 year later may na-news na isang van pumasok sa road na iyon nadale daw ng mga taong labas.
