mga bro, we're planning to go to clark on wed. then proceed to binmaley (?) pangasinan on thu. this will be my first time driving to pangasinan. ano po ba magandang route? tia!
to avoid urdaneta, take the tarlac-camiling-bayambang-san carlos-binmaley. medyo traffic pa rin on thursday morning, after lunch nalang kayo umalis ng clark.Originally Posted by maverick34

you exit at san fernando. dire-direcho lang yun. you pass by some towns in pampanga (e.g. lubao, etc...) tama sila, di mo dadaanan ito.Originally Posted by johnart
a suggestion is that if you are going to baguio and you don't want to pass urdaneta. you pass by dagupan...
sir johnart ,hindi pa po ito ang last exit ng NLEXOriginally Posted by johnart
San Fernando Exit ,madali ito makita kasi may dito iyon paskuhan village at may SM (San Fernando branch)
No, but you will surely notice it since you can see the Robinsons Mall on our right just before the exit.Originally Posted by johnart
Re Urdaneta traffic, this really sucks. You can bypass the town, nakakalito nga lang ang daan. Turn right before the town proper and you can come out near the city hall, avoiding the traffic. Couldn't describe the route though, after 5x passing I still can't memorize the turns. Maybe others know it well.
the best talaga umalis ng early ,
Any info will be helpful. Thanks!
pozzorubio-manaoag route? why would you want to take that, jim. anyways, that route is lightly trafficked, i just dunno during holy week. i last drove thru there last month and the overall condition is very good. much better than the tarlac alternate route in comparison.Originally Posted by jim
to those who are still bent on going north, try the rosales-sta.maria-asingan-binalonan route. the junctions in this route clearly signposted. just follow the "to baguio" signs.

Yes, boybi. That's the "long shortcut" going to Baguio.
Anyway, we beat the Holy Week travel frenzy and had our vacation last weekend already. We went to Subic for some overnight relaxation.

Have a safe trip.
Sorry Jim, I haven't passed by that route; Binalonan-Manaoag ang dinaanan namin last weekend. Maybe diesoline or other Pangasinan tsikoteers can help.
Originally Posted by cardo
the situation will be different during holy week.Originally Posted by smalltimer

sir falken, good conditon and well paved mga daan dito, though medyo narrow lang ng konti since this are not meant to be a national hiway, secondary roads lang. pero dont worry kasya naman two-way eh, in fact, dito din pinadaan a couple of years back mga buses going north when they upgraded the roads in Tarlac City (after the poblacion area papunta na Gerona lapit sa Shell. Ung mga private naman eh dun pinapasok sa isang private subdivision for the re-route.
As always, dami mga tricycles and kuligligs kaya extra care not to mention makukulit na residents na tumatawid ng bigla na akala mo eh sakop pa ng bakuran nila ang daan.
Di rin advisable this route sa gabi due to absence of street lights.
Also, not advisable din ito during rainy seasons as these areas are prone to floods kasi nga puro ricefields dito. I remember one time kailangan ko ilusong yung FX service namin, abot hanggang hood yung baha di na din makabalik that time kaya napasubo na.
I do frequent this route, me mga relatives din kami sa area na yan....
