    executive branch gov't offices plus LGUs lang apparently ang non-working holiday kasi hahakutin mga empleyado sa rally ni presidente bukas sa malacanang daw

    i may be in the office because it's not a holiday for me. but if i can not conduct my business with these institutions, it may as well be a holiday just the same.
    and schools! hindi na ba sila makukulangan ng araw, sa dami ng nawalang araw dahil sa weather! yung iba, nag-ma-make up classes na sa sabados.

    imho, nothing to celebrate today, both in historical and current context. ML was a dark chapter in our history, and the fact that there are a lot of people protesting in the streets is proof that government has, and is continuing to fail, the Filipino people.

    according to Abella, hindi pa daw final ung declaration of no work on Nov 12-15...but recent history suggests they have to, kung ihohost nga sa Manila. Ayaw ba nila sa Cebu, Subic or Davao?

    I believe the venue will be clark this time. Still if the delegates are staying in Manila, they will be closing some roads to traffic.

    ^ what made it worse is that the delegates weren't billeted in one or just a few venues. afaik some stayed at Ortigas CBD, and they stopped all traffic as the entourage crossed EDSA.
