guys, my family and i will be driving to subic on saturday... just would like to know what to expect kasi mga 2 years na din ako hindi nakapunta ng north.

    Toll Fee?
    Ave. Travel Time to Subic?
    Ave. Travel Time to Manila?
    Traffic prone areas?
What time ang mga rush hours going back to manila?

we're planning to leave early para doon na kami mag breakfast sa subic, so that we could maximize the entire day to go around. So, im sure we wouldn't experience any traffic (unless merong accident, etc.) since maaga pa naman.

    TIA

*karl: hehehe. kita tayo dun. alis ako later, balik ako sunday morning. i'll be staying at the subic international hotel.

ave travel time is around 2.5-3 hours from manila.
traffic prone area is at lubao pampanga. pero moving naman.

1-1.5 hours from SF Pamp. Traffic usually at Sta Cruz lubao but since you're travelling early morning, shouldn't be a problem. 21 pesos for cars at subic tollway.

paulp: 21 at the subic toll. how about sa NLEX? mahal na diba?

actually beach at zoobic lang ang priority na pupuntahan namin, since we already brought the kids to ocean adventure 2 yrs ago. then kung may time pa sa sunday morning siguro mag karting, duty free and sight seeing na lang.

hehehe. zoobic, beach and ocean park lang din agenda namin dun. yung ibang spots kasi di pwede ang 5 year old kid eh (like go-kart).

honk din if you see a dark blue mitsu lancer (WHL-**1), with super menyak tints.

that was my first time in 2 years to go back to subic, and sad to say, hindi na masyadong attractive yung place. parang ghost town na, napabayaan. yung duty free wala ng taong namimili unlike before na saksakan ng dami ng tao. ndi na din masyadong maganda yung beach. these are just my opinion... baka may mag react

Total of 146. 42 at Balintawak gate and 104 at San Fernando gate. Going back to Manila, you pay flat 146 at Bocaue gate.

I was at camayan beach last Saturday. Sarap mag beach kahit may bagyo
Ubos pa lahat ng cottage at that time (may mga company outings), so if you plan to go to that beach, try to be early.

medyo bumagsak nga ang quality lately sa subic the past 2 years.. partly na din dahil sa business bumababa na.

every week, I make a regular commute there (business kasi namin andun) and true enough, if you get up early enough, you won't have any trouble during the trip. walang traffic if ever.

usually I leave at around 5:30AM. andun na ko by 7-7:30AM. hindi naman ako nagmamadali.

    Hhhhmm....dami natin ha...

Actually, be coming from Alaminos, Pangasinan on Sat and I'm taking the longer route to Manila via Santa Cruz-Iba-Olongapo Road. Siguro late afternoon na kami nasa Subic to stop and have meryenda/dinner dun sa house ng isa naming officemate.

And oh, btw, galing kami Hundred Islands by the time you see us.....

So, honking your horns 3x is the official tsikot callsign huh?

Expect me in silver 2006 Toyota Hi-Ace Commuter .....see ya around!
