They still feel theyre getting the small piece of the pie, coz grown ups and middle aged guys are sporting Montero, Fortuners everyday. Even if they can go to boracay every summer, grabe pa din ang angst nila when they sed families like Kramer, family ni Zoren, vic sotto, building mansion houses or vacationing in maldives in style

This happened before, it was World War 1.

The period before world War 1 it was the Age of Romanticism, novels, starts of mass production , and neo classical Rome revivals of poems literature etc etc. aka post renaissance applied

So those who bought books noon, were empowered by these stories . And when the world reached 1900s, kumbaga recharged na recharged na ang youth noon to apply what they rrad with disregard that what you read is different from real tough life.

And so what did the grown ups do, or the powers that be do. They started a war so send this misplaced youth to the trench warfare. Dun nagkaputol putol ang katawan ng mga youth to make them realize na yun mga stories ng heroes, romance, and exploits iba sa trench warfare

And so the world got rid of these misplaced youth, and soon afterwards yun mga nakaligtas sa world war 1 na youth, who were smart enough not to join the war, were anniholated by the Spanish Flu of 1919, 1918 ang end of world war 1.

The Spanish flu did not kill the weak, it killed 18 Million of the strong youth, be ause the virus attacked the strong.

So that is how Mother nature purges people who are misguided or who read too much or in our age, who used the internet too much.

Mother nature will just assign a berdugo siguro , hinde natin alam and eill do its bidding (hitler like, 3rd antichrist) who will do the cleansing.

So kaya sabi ko sen yo prepare for war and pandemics. Magkasunod lagi yan

Ngaun nga me signs na sa pandemic diba, dengue, polio, swine flu

    ok OB that's fair

    you're talking about income inequality

income inequality can cause widespread discontent and lead to bad things

throughout history when you have a small number of rich people and a large number of poor people you get revolution

in our case i think malayo pa tayo diyan

between the small number of rich people and large number of poor people there's a buffer -- the growing middle class

ung mga mahirap gusto nila magkagulo coz life is so hard they have nothing to lose

but the middle class... ok naman ang buhay... life isn't luxurious... just comfortable so it's in their interest there's peace and order

the powers-that-be need to keep the middle class population growing (or at least not shrink) if they want to maintain power

when a lot of middle class people fall into poverty the powers-that-be have a problem (that's what made rural America vote for Trump)

OB naisip ko mahirap pala maging millenial/genZ

meron mga age 20+/30+ self made multi-millionaires na

so those in the same age group are facing so much pressure to succeed/to keep up

they see their peers buying houses and mustangs tapos they're stuck in 9 to 5 jobs barely able to make cc and car payments

    makes them feel like failures

dami siguro millenial/genZ may depression ngayon

What me worry? Wala lang feel lang daw kasi... no accountability.

    'A way to express anger'

A masked black-clad protester with goggles, who only identified himself as Logan was one of those who vandalised shops in New Town Plaza in Sha Tin.

"It was a way for us to express anger," the 16-year-old student says, adding that he is angry at the businesses for "selling out Hongkongers".

He says he does not expect to achieve anything through such acts, and has considered that this could lead to opposition from the public towards protesters.

But he insists: "We don't have any burden any more, therefore we don't need to care much."
    "Business suffering'

Mong Kok pharmacy worker Sum, who only gave his surname, says he has served only a few customers today. "Our business has suffered a lot in the past four months. We have seen fewer customers, both local and foreign."

He says despite the lagging business, he has to stay at the store until his shift ends at 6pm because his boss opens the shop daily to meet the high rent. He adds that he has heard some shops in Tsim Sha Tsui have already been forced out of business as they could not keep up with rents amid the protest unrest.

Regarding the political crisis gripping the city, Sum says both sides have their rights and wrongs.

    Yun mga weak millennials

Yun mga weak millennials / Genz siguro depressed, and these are the 80%, you know the ones who comment negatively on social media posts and very quick to judge

Kahit ano naman generation may top performer eh but like i said 80% is malaki tapos gsnito pa ang takbo pag-iisip. Inggit at comparison ang takbo ng buhay.

Bata pa kasi ako sa DLSU, we were trained not to compare any aspect of our lives with another, kasi iba-iba naman talaga challenges ng bawat isang tao , maybe be bec my education is also heavily - influenced by religion

But sadly most people are ganyan, gusto magyabang pero pikon. ako kasi alam ko yun virtue ng nagyayabang pero dapat trained ka emotionally na wag mainggit coz that is the ultimate test of your mental health. Something na dapat pinractice na from the start

But nowadays, we see people being envious of others people accomplishments in social media.

So basically, thats the story of my life. Most of college friends are sporting sports cars, premium suvs etc. tapos ako naka PPV lang.

Minsan i take picture or they take picture of me with their cars, tas para medyo may angst dila coz I look good with their cars in social media than them.

Holistic kasi dapat ang approach to life, mind, body , spiritual development, hinde mind lang like my now executive friends na losyang, hinde body lang na bum like my other friends, and at hinde porkit puro God Memes ka sa social media posts ok ka

Ma feel mo naman yun eh, kung you are jealous of another accomplishment , you are part of that 80% of that generation . Eh Pareto principle din lang naman yan. God also takes notice of only the top 20% of each generation.

You know why our time now is filled with recycled souls. Grabe na nga ang technology ngaun and yet we still see people who are not grateful of what we have. Tapos depressed pa

In the older days, it takes half a day for a fsmily to prepare food, coz walang ref, walang oven etc,

And yet there were great people in the past, like Michelangelo who painted the Sistine Chapel or Raphael who scuplted David, walang kuryente yun, walang drill, or electric pang hass. And yet they acoomplished those things.

Nakita ko kasi yun virtue na yan dun sa dating El shaddai si Velarde ba yun. i hated that person when i was in school.

But this one time , nun nagkarun ng crisis sa tin i think it was the 2008 financial crisis, interview sya sa TV, all of sudden he blurted ou: “there is opportunity in chaos. Most people would just fold and i reiterate there is opportunity in chaos, to test yourself when everything seems to be in disarray.” One nagulat ako sa kanya marunong pala siya mag english and to think his flock are the masa Filipinos, tapos nalaman ko pa he owns 3 tagaytay highland log cabin. Eh nakikinig ako nun sa tagaytay highlands, kasi may nakikibakasyon ako nun dun

And tapos fit pa yan si Bro, Mike Velarde na yan.

So dun naintindihan ko na ang lahat, why does God allow this man who considers himself a prophet to flourish and getaway with it? To most of us in the Catholic world, para sya manloloko.

God allowed him to flourish because of his attitude in life. Thats why meron din tayo Duterte ngsun. Yun ang matinbang talaga, the attitude of a person given the odds.

These millennials . Genz, they wouldnt continue if the odds are not good. And so alam na ang future, a generation of possible whiners, eh kasi nga sa iphone , sa 10mbps internet gsnito madali mabilis. No wonder Juts’ generstion into alexa, google home, or AI. Kasi nga they rather talk to predictable computers than unpredictsble humans

And yun nga ang purpose ng buhay natin lahat eh, to overcome that challenge, the irrationality around us.
