If you're going to Davao, take some time off to go see the beaches in Samal Island. Don't worry about the weather. Davao's weather is fairly stable all throughout the year (walang bagyo). If you are into nature-tripping, you can go white-water tubing (sasakay ka ng salbabida tapos paagos-agos sa malakas na tubig sa ilog either in Darong or Tamugan). Or you can go see the Philippine Eagle Park. Enjoy mo na rin the wide variety of fruits in season, as well as the numerous tuna (panga-buntot-belly) ihaw-ihaw along Boulevard area. Don't worry about crime, it ain't as worse as in Metro Manila. By the way, the city's central district is a non-smoking zone. They are quite strict about it. You really don't want to find yourself arrested for smoking in the downtown area and doing community work to cover the penalty.

samal island bro... pearl farm.... you feel you are in paradise. hehehehe.
while you are at it, take some time to taste durian (in case you have not tasted one) and some mangosteens.

make it appoint to drop by and eat at Luz' Kinilaw and try their grilled tuna esophagus.

night life, the venue pa din + its surrounding clubs/hangout spots. Try mo din Jack's Ridge.

if you play golf, make sure you play at the Apo Golf Course. Check mo yung Hole #13 where you tee off facing the majestic view of Mt. Apo.

go to eden nature park. i'm sure it would be worth your while. ganda dun mag-unwind because it's totally unlike manila. if you're into orchids you can also drop-by malagos garden resort.

also never ever leave davao w/o dining at colasa's. don't let their "ambiance" fool you because their chicken bbqs are to die for

taxis are no problem there since the drivers in dc are fairly honest and polite. you can order one to pick you up via a phone call to their dispatcher 24/7

tama sila visit samal island pre. go to pearl farm and to paradise island . food there is great and affordable + the beaches are clear and clean

dami din akong napuntahang waterfalls sa marilog but it's quite far from dc. baka ngayon ayos na ang daan kaya travel time would probably be shorter nowadays.

white water tubing is also recommended. just don't do it if you've drunk quite a few shots/bottles already...mahirap na. dami namin umuwi na may bukol ng ginawa namin yun dati

while you're there do pig out on tuna panga, tuna belly, tuna buntot, tuna bihod, tuna langgonisa, and tuna crispy buntot :

wholesome spa ba? mura dun sa K1, bagong open lang a few months ago. katabi lang nya mga restos like Bistro Rosario, Regines and a new buffet japanese resto at dami pa iba. buffet * Cafe Marco at Marco Polo hotel is highly recommended.

pag gs2 mo naman 'ahem', sa Cabaguio * Bunker Hill, ok ang 'spa' dun..or kung room service meron din ako alam

after that pwede hang out * Jack's Ridge or gimik * Venue.

you can also have a day tour of Pearl farm, ok dun. or better yet overnight. kung budget conscious pwede na sa Paradise resort, much cheaper than Pearl farm.

sayang mid july pa ako uli pnta davao hehe

Not now, from airport you can take taxi w/out worrying security, excessive fare, etc. bigyan ka ng papel na maliit to fill up your name.taxi no, etc tapos paglabas mo ng airport, kukunin pangalan mo ng Task Force Davao and your destination and take note metro ginagamit hindi pakyawan(unlike in manila.hehehe) You can buy fruits for paslubong at Bankerohan Market mas mura and souvenir shops at Aldevinco pero marami din sa Gaisano Mall. Water rafting also at Maa, same location ng crocodile park at legal drag race ng Davao. About bad guys, konti na lang dito yan, takot lang nila kay Duterte!ikaw ba naman ihulog sa helicopter ng walang parachute.. JUst see for yourself na lang to enjoy Davao!
