Also here in baler today. 3 adults, 1 toddler.

Few rough sections of the road but significantly better than a few years back.

First time walang sayad vios ko. Hehehe

Planning to go to Baler then further up north to Cagayan for a roadtrip by end Nov. With the recent typhoons that hit the area, baka may nasirang roads na mahirap daanan. Any forumers living there or recent travelers to the area can share the current road condition?

Last week yung doctor na friend ko don naka based hindi sya naka balik ng baler kasi closed pa mga road or unsafe to travel.by november siguro ok na yan

planning to go to Baler this coming holy week. ano po bang fastest/best route from Manila? Then Baler to Manaoag? ilang oras po byahe?

^ i wish you best of luck in your plan.

Did that holy week 2 years ago. Left manila at 2AM. Arrived at cabanatuan via NLEX/TPLEX at 8AM.

arrived at baler 3PM.

On the flipside, during our 'regular' baler trips, we leave manila at 5AM and get there lunch time.

Just came from Baler last week.

Best route for now is NLEx, SCTEx, exit at Tarlac then Aliaga, all the way to Rizal, Pantabangan, Ma. Aurora and Baler.

The one lane Pantabangan area us now clear of those pesky humps, roads are 99.5% well oaved, no more construction works.

Travel time is still 6 hours, more or less, from QC to Baler.

From Baler to Manaoag, take Pantabangan and go back to Tarlac and take TPLEx, travel time will be aroung 6 hours also.

Aside from the usual areas to visit, if you are the adventurous type, go to Dicasalarin, pay 300 pesos, and test your driving skills going down and up.

punta kami baler tomorrow for company outing. i'm bringing my 2016 City. kaya ba siya in one full tank of gas (i'll be coming from las pinas pa pala, btw)? sabi kasi ni waze if i take the NLEX-SCTEX-Cabanatuan route, 300ish km. eh alam ko asa ganong range lang din ang kaya ng full tank ko. para maplano kung saan strategically (read: saan mura hehe) magkapagpa-gas along the way.

Worth it ba magtravel Manila to San Fernando La union check in 2 days sa beach then back to Manila? Aureo beach resort tinitignan namin. Ilang oras pala travel time if 5 am alis sa Manila.
