i have watched the post of the dimplestar bus that tried to tread flooded road. the driver took the risk with his passengers in the bus. very risky indeed.
what if, on flood prone roads the department of public works and highways make depth markings on power poles alongside the road? the marking will be in feet or meters from the finished road surface so as to inform drivers how deep the water is and have the drivers make decisions whether their vehicle will be safe traversing the flooded road. the markers will inform drivers who have not traveled that road before or have not traveled that road when it is flooded
