Hi Sir/Madam, Need your advice. I'm planning to book a three day vacation in El Nido, Palawan probably first quarter of next year. Do you have an idea or first hand experience on what resort in the area which we can consider? Inquired sa Ampulit and Miniloc developments of the Ayala's and their average is at 25k per day for two persons. Baka you know a resort na mas lower yung price pero okay rin naman yung facilities. Thank you in advance!

Check this out.

    1. Marina Garden Beach Resort (walang pool)
    2. El Nido Overlooking (mahirap lang booking kasi peak season na sa Q1 of 2016 but it has a nice view indeed.) -may pool
    3. Sunset Lovers Beach Cottages (may pool)
    4. El Nido Garden Beach Resort (medyo pricey din pero not like those of miniloc and lagen, may pool)

Thanks Sir Ry_Tower. I was thinking na ikaw ang isa sa pwedeng sumagot nito since ikaw lang po alam ko na taga palawan dito.

Ill check out those resorts you mentioned. So talagang maganda pala yung El Nido resorts and mukhang sulit naman sa price. Sir, apat na ata yung resort nila. Meron pang Ampulit Island? I asked for a quotation. eto yung breakdown.

    APULIT ISLAND
Type Particulars No. of Room/Pax No. of Nights Rate Total Amount
    Room Rate Water Cottage 1 room 2 13,298.00 26,596.00
    AMOUNT DUE PHP 26,596.00

    Inclusions for Apulit Island
 Accommodation in an air-conditioned room
 Roundtrip Van and boat transfers (Airport-Taytay Pier – Resort – Taytay Pier-Airport on the regular shuttle for guests with Island Transvoyager flights)
 Full board meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
 Complimentary use of non-motorized water sports facilities such as kayak, hobie cat and wind surf
 Scheduled complimentary tours and activities
 Applicable government taxes and service charge

Akala ko kasi you are referring to the EL Nido resorts talaga hehe. 3 kasi yung sa El Nido. Yang Apulit ay sa Taytay town, the town before EN. Dati yang Club Noah. Nabili na nga ni Ayala.

Yeah familiar me dyan pero nung nakapunta ako dyan before, Club Noah pa yan. I don't know if they changed anything pero malamang may improvements yan.

Yung El Nido Garden Beach Resort check mo, maganda naman amenities and yung location kaso nga lang don't expect 5 star accomodation and service. Pero sa price niya mas practical siguro. Binabayaran mo kasi sa EN resorts ay yung prestige, privacy and the impeccable service and food.

BTW much cheaper yung Manila-El Nido airport to Taytay kesa Manila to PPC to Taytay if ever sa Apulit ka.

Baka mahilig ka mag-diving or snorkeling.

Pricey eh. :p Ay ganun ba Sir. Kaya pala malayong travel pa from EN to Ampulit. Miniloc din or Lagen?

My best fishing was in El Nido (tuna and barracuda). Saw some unique stuff when i dove there (a 6 ft Napoleon Wrasse and sharklike spanish Mackarel). That place is other worldly especially the lagoons. The abandoned monastery in one of the islands is eerie as well.

Been to pukhet , krabi and while the infrastructure there is light years ahead of ours (kakaingit), their beautiful islands are PACKED with tourists. At least there is still some solitude in El Nido.

I stayed in miniloc, pangalusian and Lagen. All have their charms. If you have more to spend then go with Lagen. If you want to splurge then Pangalusian . But I guarantee you that you will not spend lots of time in the resort anyway ..... Bacuit Bay just holds too many treasures.

Lagen is currently being renovated and will be open again for business by December. Lagen has swimming pool, in case you need one, though Bacuit bay offers a lot in terms of activities. Pangulasian has a really nice beach but food is not covered in the cost. If you stay at Pangulasian, you can visit Miniloc and Lagen at no extra cost. Apulit is way off from the other 3 resorts. Lagen, Miniloc, and Pangulasian are just minutes away from each other (even faster if the resort will lend you their speed boats).

Ayala also has a budget resort in El Nido. El Nido Cove is just a few minutes drive up north from Lio airport.

Hi mga sir. Just to update this thread, i finally settled with Miniloc. Total damage for two persons, three days two nights was around 50K all in. Ngayon po and procedure you have to book with the resort and airline separately unlike to those friends na nakapunta na noon, isa lang kausap nila so dalawang transactions ginawa. Happy ang GF of course sa surprise! Dapat lang. Thank you to all those who contributed and made me decide the best option. BTW, we will be going there by the end of Feb. Sana may makasabay na taga dito. Salamat ulit!

Sir I went there last New Year. Maganda amenities but the beach is not so good. Mga 15-20mins pa from EN Cove yung Nacpan beach.
