    talaga bang disposable mga xmas lights? isang xmas lang tumatagal? every year kasi, kapag magsetup na kami ng xmas tree, kalahati ng mga xmas lights ayaw ng sumindi.

    Ganyan talaga yan, every year palit. Unless sisipagin ka isa-isahin lahat ng may depektong bumbilya. Which would turn out cheaper if you buy another set, instead of the bulbs individually.

    Dapat pagbili mo check mo yung x-mas lights kung ito yung type na yung burned out bulb lang ang mamamatay or yung type na disrupted ang buong circuit.

    Tagal na ng xmas lights namin. 1980's pa ata. Masipag lang kami maghanap ng burned out bulb. Basta may crude tester ka ok na. Minsan visually pa lang kita mo nang patid ang filament sa loob or burned na.

    nung college pa ako and bago pa xmas tree namin, ang sipag kong isa isahin yung mga bulbs. yung mga binibili ko naman yung hindi affected ibang bulbs kapag meron isang burned out. ang problema minsan nagkaka loose connection, yun ang mahirap hanapin.
    meron kayang particular brand na matibay yung pagkakakabit ng mga wires sa mga bulbs? kakabad trip minsan, tapos mo nang ikabit mga lights, tapos pag saksak mo sa outlet, meron isang linyang ayaw umilaw.
    ito nangyari sa akin ngayon, just finished putting the lights on the tree, ayun, yung isang set ng lights na nasa gitna, ayaw umilaw.

    Meron akong nakitang Christmas lights na matibay, we've been using this since 5-6 years ago. Pinapalitan lang namin ng GE-15W bulb pag may napupunding bumbilya.

    ang aga nyo magset-up ha! kami after nov2 pa, dinadaan kc ng mga tao papuntang sementeryo bahay namin. :D

    xmas tree namin laging may theme, minsan silver n blue wid white xmas tree or red n gold for the green xmas tree. minsan angels ang theme, minsan candies, minsan toys, basta kaaliw!

    nagiging artistic kami, minsan kumukuha pa mom ko ng interior designer para maganda talaga. :D

    xmas lights, bumibili kami sa divisoria ng maramihan, ang mura lang, 3 for 100 na ata.hehehehe kaya ok lang kaht 1 use lang

    sometimes the xmas lights become defective because of improper storage.

    We usually check the lights before we store them into boxes. Out of ten sets, the following year, only one set would need replacing.

    Nakaka homesick tuloy ang topic, naalala ko noon pag tapos ng Nov. 1st prepare nanamin ang x-mas tree/lites and count down na sa calendar.

    Nasa pag liligpit din kasi ang itatagal ng lights. Although kahit maingat ka, the most na walang mapupundi is 2 yuletide seasons. Sa pangatlong gamit e magpapalit ka na ng bulbs.

    Ang matibay na Christmas light na nagamit ko is yung rope light. Mahal nga lang & masyado mabigat para sa ordinary Christmas tree pero consistent na ang lights nya, water proof pa (pwede maulanan wag lang yung terminals sa dulo & the plug). Ito rin yung lights na ginagamit ng DPWH sa construction alng the streets. I think, sa center island along Ayala avenue sa makati tellow yung naka layout.

    Yap, di ko sya sa Christmas tree ginamit. Pinang-outline ko sya sa terrace. Ganda sya especially sa gabi kasi pwede mo sya mainstall na straight tapos continuous ang liwanag nya.

    I even made a parol outlined by a rope light. Unique!

    try the new LED (light emitting diodes) na xmas lights....low voltage consumption and "could" last forever...
