December 31st, 2007 04:04 PM #10Here at my hometown in bulacan, nothing beats the traditional welcome of new year with firecrackers- local fountains,5 rolls of 5000 rounds of sawa, kwitis, and other aerial pailaw.

My family had dinner with my parents earlier, together with my other siblings and their families....
Now, in the comfort of our home here in South MM with wife and kids.... Malalakas na ang putukan sa kalye.... Enjoying the "peacefulness" of New Year's Eve...

January 1st, 2008 04:13 PM #13Hmmm. It was noisier than expected. I was going to drive around and blow the horn. But, a couple of teens were already blowing the car horns at their place. There were even firecrackers. Pretty wimpy though. Nothing like the warzone Manila is every New Year's Eve.

Here in Hongkong, 20 miunutes before midnight, ang ganda na ng mga paunang mga fireworks plus the laser show! pagdating ng countdown, napaka ganda ng fireworks coming from the IFC Tower tapos syncronized with the other buildings with fireworks! Galeng galeng!
Can't wait for Chinese New Year! Punta ako ulit to see the festivities! I will be going back to Manila tonight!

parang hindi kumpleto ang bagong taon dito pag walang ganung pangyayari
