Hi guys, I'm the one in charge of our company activities including company outings. This year we are planning to visit Bohol and stay for 2 nights. Any recommendations?

Our budget is around 16k per head including airfare and full board meals.

I looked at Alona Palm resort and Amorita resort pero mukhang hindi kami ma-accomodate kasi 53 kami lahat.

To give you an idea of my boss's preference, we had our outing in Pearl Farm Davao last and Club Paradise Palawan the previous years.

    TIA

My former officemates and I visited Bohol last February 2004. We stayed at the Bohol Beach Club for 6 days, and I must say that it's the best among the lot.

One thing I liked sa Bohol Beach Club is the buffet. Very appetizing ang food, and during breakfast, may bacon. Panalo talaga. They don't scrimp, unlike other resorts we've been too. We always looked forward to bfas, lunch and dinner, kasi masarap ang pagkain. Yun nga lang, medyo tinamaan kami ng diarrhea, but we couldn't pinpoint kung sa hotel food yun, kasi we also ate outside. We later heard from the locals na parang regular occurence yung nada-diarrhea sa BBC, pero contaminated water daw yung dahilan. So, drink only bottled water kung nandun kayo.

About the rooms, parang rowhouse ang style, pero maganda naman. Malakas ang AC, and may mini-fridge. May veranda din facing the beach. Bad trip lang pag gabi, kasi its not well-illuminated.

I just don't know if the quality has deteriorated lately. But given the chance, I'd like to go back.

Thanks Galactus and MnMg! Hehe.

Galactus, I'll check out panglao resort din.

    Thanks.

    Guys please keep recommendations coming.

    Thanks

I've been to alona beach, ok naman ang beach kaso maliit ang sandbar, madaming sea urchin at malalim agad (malapit sa reef, good for snorkeling).

Panglao Nature island resort is good too, kaso they built a man-mad island malapit sa shore. Buti pinayagan ng DENR ito?

Me and my family might try Ananyana Resort (Doljo Beach - Deep clear water, mainly for scuba diving) this summer.

may kakilala kasi kami dun na french at japanese dive masters kaya medyo nalibot namin yung panglao island

Last year nag stay rin ako sa Bohol Beach club, ok naman ang room facing the garden, masarap ang food, malawak ang beach, pag kukuha nang banca for snorkeling ay dapat kumuha sa tabing resort...mas mura kasi

Okay sana sa Alona kaso hindi kami lahat kaya i accomodate eh.

    Thanks again.

Yup. Alona Palm is great for everything except food. Ananyana naka stay na din kami pero it's way overrated if you ask me.
