    first timer sa baguio, da best is marcos highway, pababa kennon, the important is check the condition of your vehicle,(tires, brakes, etc ) mahirap na kung hindi kondisyon ang sasakyan, baka kung kelan ka nasa paakyat, saka magkaproblema, ngiii.. saka siguro maganda umalis ka ng early morning mga 2am, tapos 5 or 6am, paakyat ka na. saka nag pinakaimportante.. ingat.

    was there yesterday. did not rain and was hot and humid.Lots of people in baguio.Just took a taxi and did not drive, much easier.Just parked in our apartment.Also noticed lots of convoys 3-5 vehicles going north.Taxi driver also noticed the unusual amount of tourist ,probably because of the hot weather in the lowlands

    camp john hay:

    * you can have your kids ride those 4x4 ATV's for rent and bumper cars
    * visit to the specialty shop which offers Chocolate de Batirol with flavors Strawberry, Almond etc. hehehe
    * good place for jogging in the morning. a lot of pine trees and cabin houses similar to Tagaytay Highlands you can take pictures at. also talked to the guard, mostly owned by senators and congressmen daw.
    * a number of franchise restos/coffee shops inside like figaro, starbucks, pizza restos and more
    * and of course, golf.

    ask ko lang....kasi kakagaling ko lang dun.. (apr. 30-may 4) ganito nagastos ko:

    diesel:1400(paalis-full tank->40+ liters)+1000(while in baguio, and up to going down to tarlac)+500(tarlac-proj.6, til tom afternoon)=P2,900

    logged 600++kms....plus:

    P500-->nahuli sa CODING! (deym),
    P300-->radiator flush

    the rest is food, pasyal, and pasalubongs...

    concern ako sa fuel, ok na ba yun for a 5-day baguio trip?

    ride ko nga pala ung liteace ko na 2c-te matic....

    for the whole trip 1,480 (44.04liters) lang ang consume ko
    check out also the RICHWOOD RESIDENCE, pwede na sa mga tutulugan lang ang hotel, mahal sa manor almost doble ang price

    btw yesterday sa SHELL bamban tarlac ang pinaka cheapest na diesel na nakita ko *33.6 per liter whereas yung iba nasa 35 na....

    I was there May2-6 spent about P3,000 for gas. Just a thought, going there i managed 9 to a liter with my 2.3 Ford Escape. Driving aroung Baguio it was only 5 to a liter without aircon pa and ouch Petron Baguio is much more expensive almost P41.03 yung unleaded.

    Comment about John Hay, yung sa may nagbebenta ng Batirol opposite ng ATV rental, bibingka is priced at P90 and walang kalasalasa. Twas a cool week plus there was no traffic. Took me 5.5 hours going and another 5.5 hours coming back. Toll fees, ouch almost P550 from Paranaque. Stayed in a condo beside Mines View. Checked tsikot.com in the free internet at the Filling Station while gobbling my burger

    Hey guys,

    Might be going up to Baguio this coming August. Need some NEW inputs regarding the "best" route to Baguio. Best here meaning the safest and most straight line going to Baguio. Shortcuts for me right now is a no-no because as you might suspected already first time ko umakyat dun.

    Kahit NLEX di ko kabisado.

    Appreciate your inputs sirs! na ako sa inyo!

    Meron ba pwede i-sketch yun at i-upload? Ganun ako katakot maligaw!

    Btw, might be needing an internet connection there? San ba wifi hotspots dun? Sa Citylights ata kami stay (Business trip).

    Baguio in 3 hours within ten years. Mangyari kaya? Usapang politiko:

    Philippine National Construction Company (PNCC), in the presence of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, has committed to immediately start work on the extension of the North Expressway up to Rosario, La Union and to be finished within the next ten years.

    Maganda sanang magkatotoo.

    My cousin has been doing that for the last few years since he spends the Christmas season at Baguio... He departs for baguio after midnight, typically 1am or 2am.
