maraming trancient house reps sa burnham park...pero the known hotel there is on session rd beside jollibee....

i alwayz take the kennon route..much shorter than marcos....un nga lang, steep inclines and the zigzag needs good driving skills and 110% vehicle condition...plus, the main reason i take kennon is malapit nalang dun ung tinutuluyan,e....sa pma!

no offense but if it rains, wag ka mag kennon. naphobia na ako sa kennon because 1 time, I was driving there and konting ulan lang naglaglagan yun mga bato. Never got over it... but the good thing there is walang buses and slow trucks, just jeeps. marcos has wide fast sweeping uphill curves :D great for testing the handling and torque of your car :D not to mention the "f1 monaco like" tunnel just before hitting the flyover hehehe

from my experience... best time to travel leaving manila is 12mn onwards, pagdating mo baguio sakto early morning na. when leaving baguio for manila, mga 7 or 8pm onwards. pagdating mo manila wala trapik and you have some time to get some shut eye and more importantly you arrive before the morning rush hour.

at the end of NLEX (yung last tollgate now will be before dau exit, wala ng tollgate sa sta. ines), pass under the overpass, curved road ito at paikot, then turn right under the mabalacat arc, go straight then turn right at the intersection, macarthur highway na ito.

medyo naguluhan ako dito sa directions mo a
Capas, Tarlac yata ang tinutukoy mong meron intersection na Y at meron Caltex in between. sa left side ang macarthur highway, yung right side, papuntang Concepcion, Tarlac, and de-tour road din ito going to NLEX kapag sobrang traffic sa macarthur highway.

(yung Tarlac State University nasa city proper ng Tarlac, and you don't need to go into the city proper to go to Baguio City.)

madadaanan mo na ang Luisita (meron Pizza Hut, Starbucks and Max's na magkakatabi), just go straight lang along macarthur highway until you reach a Y-intersection na meron lumang closed restaurant shaped like a hut. turning left will lead you to Marcos Highway, turning right is Kennon Road. Before this Y-intersection, meron magkalapit na Shell and Petron Stations. dito kayo mag stopover dahil ito na ang last decent pitstop nyo before Baguio.
