btw, 09 toyota altis ang gagamitin. meron kasi nagsabi sa akin na 1 full tank one way pa punta sa ilocos kaya na daw. tia

I think a full tank can get you to Vigan at least....but then it depends sa traffic condition as Holy Week is among the busiest at that of the year.

we went down under last holy week and I'm hopeful that it would be US this year depending on the schedule and availability if flight and price of the tickets. crossing finger makahanap ng mura. before laging meron promo ang CX eh buy 3 take 1 to LAX.

One full tank on an Altis 1.6E M/T 2007 can get you beyond Vigan easily (from Manila). If memory serves right, we actually reached San Nicolas before we needed to gas up again (to reach Pagudpud). I've also reached Manila to Vigan on a single tank using an X-Trail (2.5L 4x4), but I had to gas up before heading off to Pagudpud.

So to give you an idea, with an Altis, three full tanks (probably plus a few liters more, if traffic is slow, especially when you hit major towns full of tricycles) should allow you to go from Manila to Pagudpud and back to Manila. That would include stopovers in the Bangui windmills, the Bojeador lighthouse, Vigan, Patapat Viaduct and even side trips to Fort Ilocandia and Batac.

That's four people plus a trunk full of stuff (large ice chest filled with ice and softdrinks, 5 gallon water jug, tents, clothes, portable stoves, and a host of other stuff).
