    Savor the coming "holidays" for the rest of 2003 because next year, the following public holidays will be forfeited:

    1. April 9, Bataan Day falls on Good Friday
    2. May 1, Labor Day falls on a Saturday
    3. June 12, Independence Day falls on a Saturday
    4. August 21, Ninoy Aquino Day falls on a Saturday
    5. Christmas Day falls on a Saturday
    6. New Year's Day (Jan. 1, 2005) falls on a Saturday


    But don't lose hope!

    Heard from the grapevine that in the event FPJ wins as president, both the MANILA FILM FESTIVAL DAYS in June 2004 and the METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL DAYS(10 days) in December 2004 will be declared 10 special non-working holidays to allow ALL FILIPINOS to watch movies!

    lugi naman kayo...the companies should give you extra vacation days to compensate - they plan on not having staff a certain number of days, right? so they really don't lose productivity...
