kanina nabanggit ko na yung bagong BMW mas mahal ang M/T kesa A/T. Pero I looked at my source again and I mis-quote. The car brand that sell its M/T more than its A/T config is Infiniti, the 2005 G35 Coupe specifically.
3.5 6cyl 6M/T $33,350
3.5 6cyl 6A/T $32,750

too often i see m/t snobs (not necessarily folks on this board) look down on a/t drivers like they are losers...but they are not skilled enough with their own tranny to drive it as fast as an a/t :bwahaha:
Too much Initial-D? hehehe. Well, driving stick does entail more thinking and skill, admittedly.Originally Posted by M54 Powered

I think it all depends on what you drive. If its a sports car like Toyota MR2 or Honda S2000 or Mitsu 3000GT ill go for M/T. For sedans, SUV's or vans ill prefer A/T
a good compromise would be the SMG of M3 n M5 bimmers. clutchless shifting. mmmmmm M3....
i don't really understand why people try to compare the m/t to the a/t. both have their pros and cons and thats why they were built in the first place, so that they could be fitted with a persons' different levels of satisfaction. if you want it rough and be in command then go for the m/t, and if you're more on the relax and easy driving type then a/t it is. if you like both worlds then buy 2 cars with different tranny then, if you can't afford having both then just be happy you even have 1.
if mapapansin niyo nasa metro manila lang ang traffic, all over the philippines, especially sa provinces bihira ang A/T doon...
Ewan ko lang peeps ha. But isnt AT cheaper to maintain than MT? I mean, you dont have a diaphraghm, clutch disc and release bearing to wear out. All you have to do is change the ATF frequently. (I do it double the regular service interval)
get a car with A/T with MANUAL SHIFT MODE (like what i have) para nasa iyo na pareho, e di no problem.Use A/T for Sunday driving and Manual shift mode pag tinotopak ka.![]()
