Hi guys need help, I have a Hilux Surf which is A/T and I wanted na sana to have my transmission fluid flushed para malagyan ng bago. Where do you recommend I have it done? I live sa may South Area.. Alabang is the nearest I can go to. One more thing... dapat ba Dexxron yung fluid type na palagay ko? parang I read it somewhere or someone told me na dapat ganito yung ilagay ko? tama ba to?

    maraming maraming salamat po.

    NoOne,
An A/T is difficult to drain completely unless you open it up. If it has a drain plug on the bottom, you'll probably remove about 3-4 liters only while the rest will still be in the torque converter. After draining, fill-up thru the dipstick pipe. An experienced service/gas station can handle the change.

Remember to check the A/T fluid level at idle, normal engine temp. Dexron 2 or 3 is used in other Toyota A/T.

    NoOne,

Ser, the A/T fluids sold by service stations will usually work with your vehicle.

Try taking it to Lucas or other A/T specialists. You need a machine to totally flush out all your A/T's contents.

    NoOne,

Lucas is a transmission specialist shop. Hindi ata siya tao. hehehe. Their ads are always in the classifieds of major broadsheets.
