Tranny Problem - Cannot shift gear into Park "P"

Need help mga Sir. Recently (Jan 21) my CRV 99 1st gen cannot shift into "P" mode gear. Dulo na sya pero naka Reverse "R" indicator pa din at yung knob or gear stick parang maluwag. I removed the cover ng manibela to check wala naman sira sa mechanism ng knob. Ok naman ang ibang gear R - N - D4 - D3 - 2 - 1 gear mode.

Please help. ANo po bang deperensya ng ganitong klase.

you may opt to bring the car to you trusted mech shop to get it hoisted up for proper checking

Check mo muna ATF fluid baka low level or marumi na dahilan rin ng hard shifting.

check the bushing at the shifter cable end where it meets the shifter arm on the transaxle. usually, this plastic bushing or sleeve breaks down in time and is not able to push the arm to its farthest position P

Mga Sir na solved na nga pala itong problem ko. We replaced the shifting cable because it is already worn out. We noticed the stranded wire on the end is loosing I dont know the reason "parang lumambot yung stranded wire" that is why hindi proper ang push and pull ng wire thru shifting. Anyway 3 weeks leadtime ang ordering ng genuine parts sa Honda Sta Rosa Laguna. The part Nbr is 54315-S10-A82 Wire Control it cost Php 9,700+.

Although naghanap ako somewhere ng replacement and cheaper part pero hindi available so no choice I go for the genuine parts.

ok naman sir yung cable. actually, nag start lang yung problem after mag rewire ng alarm sa may under dash fuse box. after non, ayaw na pumasok sa D ang shift cable.
