AT Tranny Problem

Hi guys,

Ask ko lang baka alam nyo problem ng Hi ace super custom ko. Recently kz pag ginagamit ng 1 to 2 hours biglang nawawalan ng hatak. So sinilip ko yung ilalim kanina at mukhang basa ng langis yung oil pan ng tranny.

Nung chineck ko yung atf habang umaandar parang sobra kasi lampas na da hot at medyo maitim na yung atf.

Tinanong ko sa Yokohama ang sabi baka raw kailangan lang palitan yung atf pero kung change atf lang bakit bada ng langis un oil pan ng tranny?

So sa palagay nyo may major problem na kaya yung tranny ng hi ace ko?

seems like you haven't changed the atf for quite some time.

change atf...but there could be a leak already. there are some additives for leaks. its not guaranteed though. If its not resolved then maybe a gasket/seal replacement is called for.

Sir yung gasket po b na cnasabi nyo ay yung sa paligid lang ng oil pan ng tranny? Posible kayang may mas malaking sira pa sa loob?

check if your atf pan has a drain bolt. if wala ganito muna gawin mo.

1.drop the tranny atf pan. discard the atf sa pan.

2.change your atf filter.
3.replace your gasket with a new one.
4.tighten the tranny atf pan.
5.put new atf fluid with the proper specification for your vehicle.
6.perform an atf dialysis using the correct atf again for the vehicle.
7.check for proper atf level.
8.observe if problem disappears or any improvement

if meh drain bolt yung atf pan mo,

1.drop the tranny atf pan. discard the atf sa pan.
2.change your atf filter.
3.replace your gasket with a new one.
4.tighten the tranny atf pan.
5.put new atf fluid with the proper specification for your vehicle.
6.check for proper atf level.
7.drive for a while (2-3kms)
8.drain atf again using the drain bolt
9.replace atf through dipstick (amount to be poured is based on how many you drained on step 8)
10.observe if problem disappears or any improvement

after doing the above procedure saka pa lang natin pwede i-assume if wala magbago
na there could be a possibility that there is a problem within the components of the automatic transmission.

Okidoki sir maraming salamat. Try ko yan suggestion mo. Although kaninang umaga kasi jinack ko un van at sumilip sa ilalim at basa ng langis un pan at mga gilid nya. Sunubukan kong hanapin yung leak kaso nga lang nd ko makita dahil ayoko din lumusot ng todo sa ilalim. Tapos check ko yung oil level, mababa siya sa mark, habang umaandar ko ito chineck. So I guess it is safe to assume that there is a leak somewhere at yung cause ng nd makahatak ay dahil sa low atf level.

hindi mo pa alam with finality kung yung problem nang tranny ay dahil sa low level / insufficient atf fluid...
if gusto mo yun ma rule-out eh lagyan mo through the dipstick nang additional atf fluid, if mawala then that's the cause...

ikaw na din nagsabi sa unang statement mo sa first post that you checked the level and you said it was even above the Hot level, so we can assume na adequate yung atf up to that point and time, unless a lot has leaked since your post three days ago,

establish mo muna sir if kulang ba o sobra atf fluid...
if the atf is not red anymore (dark red to brown), it would be advisable to change it regardless if the atf is low or not.

Need advice mga sirs!

Navara 2008. Rpm reaches 4000 even to drive at constant speed of 70 kph. Normally hangang 1500 rpm ok na. Casa checked and replaced atf twice to remove the dirt and black color. But the problem still there , error code

Final judgement is to replace the whole valve body. 50k php.
Looking for second hand parts now.

Any suggestion on some alternatives

sana tama diagnose mahal talaga ang valve body nyan kasama ang tcm sa valve body assy. same siya ng trans ng grand starex crdi
