A/T fluid check inquiry.kindly help

gandang araw mga boss!

my automatic tranny is aisin warner 0372L. i'm planning to change the ATF and filter. here are my questions:
1. paper type ba o metallic screen ang filter nya? hindi ko pa kasi tinignan. baka may nakakaalam po sa inyo.
2. saan po makakabili ng replacement na pan gasket, A/T oil filter and other parts needed? name, location at contact number ng auto supply. nasa probinsya po kasi ako
3. papano po ba talaga ang pagcheck ng ATF ng matic? check the ATF while engine idling or check ATF while engine is off? i tried while engine is off, may reading akong nakuha. kapag engine idling at naka-"P" at naka-"N" modes ay wala po ako nakukuhang reading sa dipstick. kindly share your knowledge, experience or info mga boss kasi yung aking mga nababasa sa internet halos e "check ATF while engine idling or in Park or Neutral". e baka mali yung reading ko while engine is off. baka masira transmission ko.

please identify your car make and model. most of the a/w transmissions and transaxles use a metallic screen for filter in conjunction with four to five permanent magnets in the oil pan placed strategically. the atf is checked while the vehicle is parked on a more or less level surface with the engine running after placing the transmission select lever to reverse, neutral, drive, 2, L and back to park. this time while the engine still running, pull dipstick out and wipe with a lint free cloth and reinsert. pull dipstick out again to verify fluid level. there will be cool and hot level markings on the dipstick, of course everything is self explanatory

ang aking pipip ay:
1. 1986 mitsubishi mighty max single cab pickup(shorter wheelbase kesa mga regular na single cab)
2. transaxle is aisin warner 0372L.
3. 4d56t engine (dati syang g54b gas).

base sa aking niresearch e pang-US market pero made by mitsubishi japan pa rin. kakukuha ko rin yung mga papeles e point of unloading nya e subic (aka imported). bale 3rd owner na po kami.

bale ikakambyo ko sa lahat ng gear positions then back to "Park" before i check the dipstick, right?

ichchange atf ko kasi this saturday. brownish na rin kasi at matagal na rin ata na hindi nakatikim ng mapulapula atf. dun ko na lang iaproximate kung ilang ang natanggal. then saka ko uli ichange filter kung papel man or clean screen kung bakal man kapag may nabilhan nako. balita ko kasi sa may caloocan meron kit na binebenta. baka may alam po kayong auto supply.

if it was u.s. version, the part number would be M 351996 and estimated price would be $8.72. as per the gasket, a/w uses rtv sealant. just make sure the mating surfaces, i.e., the oil pan and the trans housing will have to be free of any mineral oil traces. use carb cleaner to spray or a dab of denatured alcohol soaked lint free rag to clean them.

nachange atf ko na tranny ko last wikend. drinain ko ng saturday pm then saka ko jinack up ung harap para magtilt yung oil pan. pagcheck ko ng umaga ng sunday tuloy p rin yung pagdrip ng old na oil. brownish na at parang may kalawang. around 2 liters plus yung natanggal ko.mejo messy kasi nagdrip sa crossmember support yung oil. tinest drive ko ng gabi. meron pa rin yung tumutunog. hindi ko talaga matroubleshoot kung transmission or driveline. proportional yung pagbilis ng tunog sa takbo ng pikup e. could it be the u-joint-yoke driveline assy?
