July 6th, 2012 01:33 AM #1Hello
Any tips/advise to para mas mapadali po? Thanks!

your stick shifter is that of a first class type lever. if you shorten the distance between E (effort) and F (fulcrum) and the distance between F and R (resistance), naturally the effort has to be increased. that is called your leverage or mechanical advantage or mechanical disadvantage

Basically. The only benefits of a short shifter are less play and more accurate shifts... But for easier shifting, you want a longer lever arm, as seen on some racing cars and trucks.
