lately i've been having some intermittent problems with my ae92's shifter, specifically when switching into 3rd gear. Parang hindi sya pumapasok sa tamang slot(along the H-canal) ng 3rd gear.
i doubt if it's my shifting style(galit kasi ako sa shifter); i've been driving for almost a year with no problems at all until last month.

tlga bang yng clearance(distance) ng 3rd/4th gear sa 1st/2nd gear e malapit compare sa clearance ng 3rd/4th gear sa 5th/reverse.
kc yng sakin feelin ko malaki ang clearance(distance) from 3rd/4th gear to 5th/reverse. napansin ko to pag-dinala ko yng tranny stick sa 5th/reverse at binitawan ko, balik agad sa gitna ktang-kta mo yng spring na gumagana kso from gitna move ko yung stick sa 1st/2nd gear then bitawan ko prang d man lang bumalik sa gitna yung stick. off ang engine ko nito, test ko lng yng movement ng tranny stick ko.
nagkakaproblem kc ako sa shifting din. pagnsa 3rd ako then shift sa 4th gear minsan pumapasok sa 2nd gear. dko nman push sa side na yun. d nman madalas mangyari to, nkakasira kya ng transmission or engine to?
pano ko kya maso-solve to?! lancer glxi 93 ang ride ko!

just be careful na when you are shifting from 3rd-4th di yan pumasok sa 2nd kasi dami na sumabog na engine due to over revving. wag lang dapat galit sa shifter and try to be gentle para di masira mga synchro and other parts inside

mgkano ba pagawa/bili ng synchro? nu dapat gawin dyn?

February 28th, 2004 04:04 PM #7pag hindi na pumapasok sa gear it means wear out na to or shift forks mo bent na 1st and 2nd magkasama 3rd and 4th, 5th and revers so in between 2nd and 3rd konting allowance same pag nag shift ka sa 5th.
