actually, i just want to share something. it's about the faulty radiator that has been driving me for couple of months. the radiator of my ride (Civic '96), always seems to have leaks (para bang laging galing sa nightlife na hindi nag-iingat). every time i try to have it fixed, it will be fixed for about a week, then ayun, tulo na naman. e di pagawa na naman ulit. i found out that the lower part of the radiator, yung mga dugtungan seem to move kada pinapahinang ko. kaya ayun, ginawa ko, pina-buo ko na ang hinang. tapos ang pesteng tulo. =>

based on your cars age, I am assuming that you need to replace your clutch assembly na. medyo mahal ang price nyan kasi Honda.

For the meantime sir ian-rex, operate your vehicle without a radiator cap (just don't forget to keep refilling). Find the cause of the high pressure then buy a new radiator (Evercool, Denso, OEM, etc.)

Your cooling system may be going into a high pressure state that's why it is causing the damage to the radiator. The radiator is one of the weaker parts of the cooling system. I guess its an easier fix than if your head gasket was the one that got popped by the pressure.

Oh, and check the radiator cap.

As for the clutch, your release bearing might be faulty already. I cracked the one in our Besta and MB100. However it would not be practical to do all that disassembly to replace only the bearing. You should get a new clutch disc and pressure plate na din. I don't know what other parts to replace. Sabi ni afrasay, pilot bearing din daw.

nag-dadrag na ang clutch. better have it check. pilot bearing should also be replace during clutch system overhaul, although not all engines have this. yun iba bushings.

It's called "Clutch Chatter" mga bros. Yun bang on-off-on-off yung friction between the pressure plate/flywheel and the clutch disc. This could be caused by overheating as a result of riding the clutch (inapakan konti habang tumakbo ang sasakyan, parang ginawang footrest), or clutch abuse, such as when forcing the vehicle to ride over an obstacle as is done when rock-hopping. This could also be a result of oil contamination coming from a leak either from the engine side or transmission side oil seal. The only fix is the replacement of the disc, refacing the pressure plate and flywheel, and replacing the damaged oil seals if any.
