hi blacklynx, that a/t shop near tesda is Lucas Transmission. car dealership does sub-con to this shop if they cannot repair it in-house. when my lowered car(mit. lancer) hit a big concrete block at the middle of the street, airport road in paranaque to be exact, they were the first in my mind. i never bothered bringing it to the casa, because they will replace the whole a/t assembly which might cost me 200K+(experience of another mitsubishi owner). brought it to mr lucas and he only replaced the transmission housing and overhauled the parts inside. cost me P68K that time. pricey but its worth it. if ever i will have another major a/t problem, i would definitely bring it to them again. AND.... they are open 24 hours. though they dont work 24 hours, they accept your car and entertain your problem even at the middle of the night. i think jun and some of his crew are stay in or live in the same vicinity.
there is another a/t shop in visayas ave, q.c. the name is "automatic transmission specialist". good feedback from them also. though i dont know which one is better or which one is cheaper.
