June 5th, 2003 01:31 AM #1my friends car(an ae92) ran out of clutch fluid(dunno how it leaked out) and hindi niya na-notice kaya ginamit pa yung kotse. nung makabalik lang siya sa bahay na-notice yung tulo ng fluid sa garage. btw, nung nagdagdag daw uli ng fluid, umitim yung clutch fluid.
kailangan ba niyang i-flush yung clutch fluid? ano kaya effect nung ginamit yung kotse nang ubos yung clutch fluid?

Naubusan ako ng fluid on my way to Bulacan. Nagleak yung slave sa ibaba so total loss of fluid.
Siyempre dahil walang fluid, hindi nagdi-disengage yung clutch. I had to rev match to be able to shift and kapag stop, I started the car in first gear na.
I didn't have the fluid flushed afterwards. I just had the system bled. Medyo naupod ata yung clutch after that episode of driving.Naubusan ako ng fluid on my way to Bulacan. Nagleak yung slave sa ibaba so total loss of fluid.

Sa tabi nung lalagyan ng brake fluid is another lalagyan. If you're facing the car, sa right yun. pag salin mo nung fluid dapat hanggang dun lang sa maximum level kasi masama pag sobra, I think overflow un. Be sure that you only use the right fluid.
I had an experience once. Sama pa nga kasi sa express! :? Better check the level first bago kayo alis and the brake fluid level na din. Nandyan nakasalalay buhay natin.

ditto.
no fluid = no clutch = can't change gears, quite traumatic when it happened to me.
on some cars the brake and clutch have the same reservoir.
