bring it over siguro so we can pinpoint where the leak is comming from talaga. the steering and tranny are totally different things and should not be connected.

    I'm a hobbyist, not a mechanic. So i don't know the engine layout of a 98 crv

i do enjoy getting my hands greasy and do stuff DIY for kicks and giggles.

the ovehaul kit should be in the 500-1k range, depending on the vehicle. it's composed mainly of o-rings and various gaskets. a mechanic should be able to do that in half a day, so a neighborhood talyer should charge you 500-800 bucks.

with the cost of fluid it should cost you around 2-3k.
