Mga kaibigan tulong naman, medyo nagluluko yung Lancer94GLXi namin, according dun sa 1st workshop need to replace daw A/T transmission and it will cost 45k to 55k, sa 2nd workshop solenoid valve daw and re-pack the A/T transmission it will cost 30k. Could you pls. help me decide.

pag transmission lang mahirap maghanap kasi usually complete engine with transmission ang benta nila. mas mura pa nga yung complete engine and transmission eh. you can buy 1 then just get the transmission only. or you can replace the engine na rin in your car. baka mas malaking engine pa pwede molagay dyan. problema lang baka di compatible and computer box so ask mo muna ano pwede sa lancer94.

dun sa valenzuela mura lang kaya lang nga complete engine w/ tranny. take nlex, exit ka ng valenzuela/malinta, turn left towards the overpass and proceed west for about 1 km. when you see a caltex gas station on your right side the entrance to the site is about 50 meters on the left side before the small bridge. when you enter the compound it will be the warehouse on your right. they are 20-30% cheaper than banawe or anywhere else in metro manila. approximate price of complete engine w/ tranny will be around 16k. ask mo din baka may tranny lang.

You can also try Lucas (hanapin mo sa Bullettin ang ads nila).

IMHO, if a shop just says replace the whole damn thing, tinatamad lang yun mag-diagnose and gusto ka lang singilin sa parts and labor of installing a new one (at least kung defective ligtas sila).

Pakatay mo A/T mo sa A/T shop.

i think much better kung ipapaayos mo nalang sa A/T Specialist.
kse, its a gamble if youre gonna buy a surplus transmission cuz hindi mo alam, baka binenta yung engine because of the defect of transmission. A transmission's life is roughly 5 to 8 years lang.
Also, pag inoverhaul yan, like new na (with warranty pa)
try to call this no: dito nagpagawa yung boss ko, OK ang service nila. I heard this man studied A/T in the States.
