    Good day!

i have a friend who owns an automatic toyota corolla gli 93 model. he wants to dispose the car and ask me if i wud be interested.

    NOw my question is:

    1. if i were to buy the car, is it ok for a transmission conversion? (lakas sa gas ng matic eh )
    2. what are the parts to be replaced aside from the tranny itself?
    3. how much would it cost for this conversion? (if anyone did it already)
    4. where wud i find the parts with cheap price?

replies, comments and suggestions are welcome.

transmission, pedals, gear lever, etcetera. I'm not sure if the 93 GLI AT already has slots ready for the clutch pedal or if you have to cut holes in the firewall for it. Cost will depend on the cost of the transmission and whether or not you can sell the old one to offset the costs.

I'm thinking 6-10k for labor? Not sure, because most shops don't want to commit to this kind of job, and they'll tell you it's easier to just re-sell and buy a manual version instead.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

now why would you do that? seriously...
if you want to save on gas, have it installed an autolpg device instead of converting it to manual my golly man, naka manual ka nga tapos hataw at paliliparin mo tsikot mo eh hindi ka rin nakaka tipid...

grabe tol mas masarap mag maneho pag automatic ang tsikot mo lalo na sa traffic dito sa manila...

    peace

If I were you if you want a M/T just buy one instead of converting. For me its not worth the cost and effort, plus future problems on the tranny.

Especially with such a common car, a Corolla hehe, get a manual from the get-go.

nasaisip ko na yan for my liteace..pero, nakikita ko na nang hindi feasible.

tsaka, ang a/t matakaw lang naman kung itotodo mo ang gas parati,e.. pag d lang, the very light foot, kusang bibilis yan.
