hey bro, is the Clutch Kit new or used?? anywayz, kung Brand New / Stock Replacement ang Clutch Kit, then it should last for 100K miles (or more) specially kung moderate city or freeway driving lang ang gamit. I even see some clutches (yung original ha) from cars who have more than 100K miles.

    aite, peace.

    yup, i agree.
    100,000 miles = 160,934 kms.

actually, i've seen vehicles too with original clutches at around the 200,000 kms mark na hindi pa nasisira.

In my experience? The whole clutch assembly can last 7-10 years. So that's roughly 75,000-100,000 km.

Depends on the driver. I've had my car for 10 years and still using the original clutch at 160,000+ Km. (knock on wood)

I've kept some clutches till 100,000 kms... but I wore down the one on the Lynx in just 40,000 kms... but that's lots of jack-rabbit starts, drop-clutch launches and two or three track days.

Nasa driver lang yun... and sa traffic. Even without tracking the Crosswind, our Crosswind's clutch only lasts about 70,000 kms between changes due to the traffic it goes through.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

normal and conservative way, daang libong kilometro yan - depende sa driver at location, kung purely highway, halos doble kumpara kung sa maynila stop-go gagamitin. at syempre depende sa mekaniko pag pina check na. .. walang biro.

Severe engine braking is very hard on the clutch disc's friction lining---I know this from experience. On our old AE101, I used to thrash it and experiment with very hard engine brake procedure. Not only did it shorten my clutch assembly's lifespan, it got me pathetic fuel economy too.

Didn't know how to heel-and-toe back then, too...so that's even worse.

Yung pang Rally (if available) ang maganda i-replace for worn clutches, for enhanced durability.

There are car models that are also used for endurance rally or sa mga racing.

Speedlab carries a few performance clutch assemblies. They sell Exedy and Ogura Clutch brands.
