Depends on the vehicle. On my old Besta, a change was called for every 20,000kms. Relatively a short interval. Kaya yun na din ginawa ko sa Pajero. Sa Vitara, longer ata ang interval.

for diesel--- gear oil 90 is mostly used aside sa isuzu which they used enigne oil with 15w40 grade.... but it wold be better if you could use a 80w90 gear oil for your transmission....
gasoiline---- honda uses ATF dexron III... ewan ko lang kung ano ang gamit ng ibang model....

September 9th, 2006 09:55 AM #19sa honda normally 2.5 liters. don't use anything but engine oil. the 75w90 or 80w90 gear oils normally make the tranny a bit notchy and hard to engage kapag malamig pa makina.
GEAR FF-LSD TYPE 2 is motuls oil for lsd tranny's while MOTYLGEAR is the regular fully synthetic gear oil, GEAR 300 is the ester based gear oil.

I was wondering kung pwede gamitin yun Dexron 3 dito eventhough Dexron 2 ang specified sa manual? Padrain ko siguro?
Tapos plano ko bumili ng GEAR FF-LSD TYPE 2 since 2-wheel drive yun Sonata ko
Kwento ng katrabaho ko, meron daw sya officemate dati na Italiano na tinanong daw bakit...
