are the mtf's sold outside the casa ok? is it true that these are only engine oils remarketed/repackaged? how many liters do you need when replacing mtf's? enlighten me :please:

September 6th, 2006 03:07 PM #2No gear oils aren't repackaged engine oils, they have different formulation. Check the manual for the type and amount.

Pricey nga lang ang Redline MT90

September 6th, 2006 04:47 PM #4I just use the transaxle/gear oil they sell at gas stations. Most of them to meet and exceed manufacturer's recommendations
Still best to consult your manual.
Kakapalit ko lang nung may ng manual tranny oil sa Vitara. Also changed the oil in the axles and transfer case.
