No gear oils aren't repackaged engine oils, they have different formulation. Check the manual for the type and amount.
best is to check your owners manual. But I've been using Redline MT90 on my Lancer 97 GLXi and so far very good naman.
Pricey nga lang ang Redline MT90
I just use the transaxle/gear oil they sell at gas stations. Most of them to meet and exceed manufacturer's recommendationsStill best to consult your manual.
Kakapalit ko lang nung may ng manual tranny oil sa Vitara. Also changed the oil in the axles and transfer case.

Yep check your manual... ako I'm contemplating on Motul on my next change.
what car is it for? you'll have to specify coz different cars use different gear oils.
