Lancer CVT, Problems Anyone?

Hi, sa mga naka lancer (2004-2005) mx, have you had any problems with your cvts? also, what maintenance need to be done for cars equipped with this? thanks!

just be sure you use cvt fluid not atf!

i think on lancers, the cvtf and atf are the same thing. i could be mistaken but when you ask casa what fluid they use on the cvt's of the lancers they say just the regular spII/spIII fluid of mitsu.

check to be sure imo.

siguro mas safe to use CVT oil for CVT tranny. sa engineering design you have to do based on specs kasi pinagukulan yan during design. kaya risk mo if you use non-standard specs.

I think that's about right. Mitsu's CVTs use a conventional torque converter, so the fluid requirements should be the same as a regular automatic.

1x a year ako... para preventive... mura lang naman (City IDSI 2005)
