Evaporator
Magnetic clutch or compressor

for the 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 (Pinatubo Edition) ?

mahal sa casa eh... could i get replacements outside? other brands?

You can always try mang Mario. They do everything including GM Suburbans and E-Class Benzes.

thailand kasi assembled yung ranger... not sure of the brand... pag maghahanap ako ng replacement required ba na nakakalas yung evaporator and clutch assembly para alam nila kung tama sukat? o alam agad nila kung puwede o hindi??

If you will get a replacement compressor (like Sanden) kailangan mo siguro magpa-fabricate ng mounting bracket that will accommodate the replacement compressor.

Kailangan din siguro mag fabricate ng fittings.

I'm sure kaya nila Mang Mario yan.

Evaporator, madaming replacement brands niyan. I don't even bother buying those expensive 'blue film coated' ones.

Right now I don't know what evaporator is in my truck. We took it out and the repair guy came back with a new one. I think mine is local now.

The fan clutch is just a round donut inside the compressor. Mario's shop can 'bench-test' the clutch without removing the compressor or disassembling it.

A replacement clutch is around Php 800.00 for the part itself. But they will need to take out the defective clutch to sample it. Figure a cost of less than Php 2,000.00 [incl. labor and R134a] if you have it replaced at Mang Mario's.
