    Hi guys

Im suspecting I now have a faulty starter. Kakapalit ko lang batt.

Earlier today it took me around 8 attempts before the car started.

Anybody know if theres a DIY solution I could do to check or solve?

Also, any suggestions where to bring this in the south (Las Pinas) area? Makati?

    Thanks!

i have had that experience in my non-honda cars.
it's probably the starter solenoid beside the starter. if it is, replace it, po. it costs a pretty penny, but nothing short, will improve on your experience.
it's pretty de cajon. one can do it, if one knows how. but the tambay mekanikos beside the auto parts store, should be able do do it faster, even with one eye closed.
    good luck.

take it to customer's cradle to confirm what ails your fd.

if you need to buy a starter assembly or any other wonky headache, purchase it outside at your suking spare parts shop (piyeza, atco, aljimson, etc) if you want to save some moolah. once you have the replacement part , return to customer's cradle to have it installed.

some people order their spare parts w/ customer's cradle na to avoid any hassle. but of course, there's a mark-up already in play there na.

before putting it down, i always ask, "meron ba kayong piyesa?"
having it fixed in a place where the stores are plentiful, is good insurance of parts availability.

korekek. it's the big car shop behind shell perpetual.

i think iisa lang starter assembly model for all FDs. not 100% certain though. 1.8 or 2.0 ba makina ng fd mo?

valueplus is the one located in robinson's place lp compound, right? haven't tried them yet because customer's cradle is more convenient for me and so far i haven't had any problems w/ them.

there's also motech near zapote. sabi nila ok din daw doon. basta wag lang sa rapide.

And also yung assembly ba is a generic part meaning may made in china, thailand, etc? Or OEM talaga yun?
