Im suspecting I now have a faulty starter. Kakapalit ko lang batt.

Earlier today it took me around 8 attempts before the car started.

Anybody know if theres a DIY solution I could do to check or solve?

Also, any suggestions where to bring this in the south (Las Pinas) area? Makati?

    Thanks!
take it to customer's cradle to confirm what ails your fd.

if you need to buy a starter assembly or any other wonky headache, purchase it outside at your suking spare parts shop (piyeza, atco, aljimson, etc) if you want to save some moolah. once you have the replacement part , return to customer's cradle to have it installed.

some people order their spare parts w/ customer's cradle na to avoid any hassle. but of course, there's a mark-up already in play there na.

Have you tried Valueplus? Theres one in LP as well

Also, ask ko na rin if isa lang ang starter assembly for all year models ng FD?

korekek. it's the big car shop behind shell perpetual.

i think iisa lang starter assembly model for all FDs. not 100% certain though. 1.8 or 2.0 ba makina ng fd mo?

valueplus is the one located in robinson's place lp compound, right? haven't tried them yet because customer's cradle is more convenient for me and so far i haven't had any problems w/ them.

there's also motech near zapote. sabi nila ok din daw doon. basta wag lang sa rapide.

i think they're open from 6am-8pm. google it na lang to be sure.

most probably the replacement parts are either from china or taiwan. a lot of orig honda parts in the asean region are from thailand so there's a chance pwedeng oem na iyan.

but if you really want genuine parts, go to the casa na. aside from being assured it's the real stuff, sometimes the authentic parts are cheaper when bought from there as per my experience. pero syempre, you'll be paying more vis-a-vis the replacement parts.
