Baka corroded or laspagin na ang clutch cable (not sure if cable type pa ito).

Just wanna share a lil story.
    Believe it or not.
Im taking antibiotic capsule 500mg every six hours and pain reliever as necessary just because of my car's hard clutch.
The inner part of my big toe nail of my left foot had been infected due to repeated pressure every time I step on the clutch. Started a month ago when I went to Manila. Heavy traffic. Stop and go for 4 hours.
Now I've stopped driving for 2 weeks already. My foot is recovering.
But I really need to replace my clutch. Im still getting the funds needed.
I want to replace everything from the clutch master down to the pressure plate and disc. Just to attain that good soft clutch.
I just want to avoid what I am experiencing right now. It really sucks to commute when you have your own car and needed it most of the time.
    Quite an experience.

How much did it cost? Sa dealer ba ginawa or outside mechanic?

Just did inquire at the dealer and the quoted price is 9K+ for the pressure plate, disc and bearing and labor is 5K.

around 7k for the pressure plate, disc, release and pilot bearing. labor 1800 sa kakilalang mechanic. sa bahay ko lang pinagawa, kompleto naman kami sa gamit. medyo mahal cguro parts ko kasi province pa ako. pag manila, i'm sure mas mura.

Thank you for the quick reply.

So it means replacement parts used are not Toyota OEM. Could you share us the brand name for such parts?

Actually nagtanong din ako sa casa and quoted me 9K+ for the parts and 5k for labor. Medyo matigas na rin clutch ko.

Nagtanong ako sa Caltex and my trusted mechanic and quoted me 1.2 labor. Laki ng difference sa casa.

Baka puede mo itemize prices for the replacement parts para may idea ako pagpunta ko sa Banawe.
