clutch problem???

hi guys! new member here, frequent guest though
was wondering if anyone could help me out. i've been having this problem with my ride, pag naka-1st gear kc sya even if i haven't stepped on the gas pedal yet nag-ssurge na sya forward, & it's really scary kasi medyo mabilis umaarangkada. same is true pag naka-reverse, ang bilis din umatras, like it has a mind of its own. clutch problem kaya? na-notice ko kc mas frequent mangyari pag medyo babad paa ko sa clutch (like pag traffic). minsan din hirap ako in changing gears, ayaw nya magshift kahit todo tapak na ko sa clutch. our driver here in the office says malamang hindi clutch ang problem, baka daw sa steering wheel assembly, dun daw sa kung saan dumadaloy ung clutch fluid, baka sira na ung rubber (yup, you've guessed it, i have no idea what he's talking about )
any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Pambihira naman yang driver nyo sa office, parang hindi nya alam sinasabi nya sa iyo.
my guess is its ur clutch system. baka naninikit na sya, probably clutch driver ka?
pero one of the reason kaya ayaw mag shift is baka kulang lang sa adjustment ang clutch mo, try mo muna sya ipa adjust baka masyadong mababa. kapag hindi nagbago maybe ur clutch system needs replacement.
san po ba ang location ninyo ma'am?

had this problem before parang matik ang dating hehe at maiyak iyak na ko sabi nung kapitbahay namin jipney drayber yung bearing dun sa pinapasukan nung shaft ng tranny (located ito sa likod ng flywheel we had to take out the flywheel before we can get the bearing) is busted. kaya ayun pinapalitan ko kasi kahit naka clutch ka tapos first gear nag lolock yung bearing kaya umaabante ka pa din.

had all the adjustment on clutch before ayaw mag work until napalitan yun bearing na yun.

thanks fierari. i'll have it checked, could be the same problem. at least may idea ako, instead of hearing some mumbo jumbo from mechanics who's as clueless as i am kung ano talaga problema (& actually get paid for it)

Ma'am, matigas ba yung clutch pedal ng ride mo ngayon? kung matigas it could be 2 things, 1. defective release bearing or 2. defective pressure plate. these are some of the things u have to consider why you are having that kind of problem with your car.
pero as i have said, ipa adjust mo muna yung clutch mo baka maalis yung problem. kung hindi pa rin, i think kailangan ibaba ang transmission ng car mo para makita talaga kung ano ang problema.

d naman sya matigas, there was this instance pa nga na dumapa talaga ung clutch pedal ko, it took a while bago umangat uli. pero it happened once lang naman

try to adjust the clutch pedal first. it might be na masyadong mababaw ang pagka-adjust kaya pag binitiwan mo sya sa first gear umaarangkada na agad ang kotse at ganun din kaya nahihirapan kang mag-shift. hindi all-the-way yung clutch pag inapakan mo dahil mababaw nga.

now this is not right. might be that there is a small leak in your clutch line or the secondary or primary clutch cylinder has a small leak. dalhin mo na agad sa mekaniko ang sasakyan mo.

have you checked your clutch fluid level lately?

i have a 93 corolla gli. as for the clutch fluid level, d naman sya nababawasan.

nkalimotan ko na kung anong tawag doon. basta doon ka mag lalagay ng clutch fluid.. got replace mine kasi ayaw nya mag clutch..

Ma'am, kung dumapa ang clutch and it took awhile bago umangat, pa-check nyo soonest at peligro yan. Madali yan i-trouble shoot ng mekaniko. Sabihin mo sa mekaniko na baka clutch plate at sa sagot pa lang niya malalaman mo na kung marunong sya.

i already had it checked at speedyfix last saturday, kelangan daw palitan ung clutch pad, pressure plate and release bearing, pati na din ung master cylinder (tama ba? ) if i remember it right. i'll have it fixed na sana but then d kaya tapusin maghapon so idadaan ko na lang uli today.

ganyan din car ko before, pina-tune up ko lang now ok na. tama din suggestion dito sa thead, ma'am better pa -check mo po sa good mekaniko.

ano naman problem kung makadjot yung ride? diba clutch related yun? ano dapat palitan?
