hi po! first time ko mag-post dito kasi i've been feeling na may problem na ako sa car transmission. gustuhin ko man po na ipa-check-up yung kotse, wala naman po akong alam na kahit ano about cars so natatakot din ako maloko. plus i'm a girl so mas hesitant lang ako.

here's my problem: my car seems to get stuck at a low rev (less than 2 sa rpm) when driving at high speeds. what i do to remedy is binababa ko sa d3 para mag shift-up, then pag tumaas na ang rev binabalik ko sa d4. yun ang first problem.

then napansin ko din na pag mabagal naman ang takbo ko, parang may popping sound pag nagcha-change gear. imagine yung popping sound ng glass bottle cap ng cheez whiz or gatorade pag unang bukas... parang ganon.

tanong ko lang po kung ano po kaya ang cause nung mga problems na 'to. 2 months ago ko lang pinapalitan yung ATF nung nagpa-change oil ako sa fix stop kalayaan. gusto ko lang sana makakuha ng idea bago ako bumalik.

You have a run out clutches and friction disk on it. Balang araw ititirik ka na nyan

possible tranny problem na yan ,pero mas maganda pag dalhin mo sa tranny shop para ma diagnose .

pasali na din ng prob ko..since civic 96 lxi a/t issues ang napapag-usapan..
yung akin naman when driving at high speeds may tumutunog..parang hinuhulugan mo ng coins ang pinggan..ewan ang hirap explain nung tunog eh..sa high speeds lang nangyayari to (80+ km/h) * D4..minsan nawawala, minsan ayan na naman..

isa pa, kapag nasa D4 ako, nagsskip yung 3rd gear..di ba ramdam mo naman kung nagsshift sya..so ayun pag magt 3rd gear na tumataas rpm nya ng 2k pero, ramdam mo na hindi humatak (parang sa M/T habang naka gear ka at tumatakbo bgla mong tinapakan clutch so hindi kakapit yung gear) tapos bababa sya ng 1.5k rpm..tapos rinig mo na mahina yung tunog ng makina na alam mong nasa 4th gear na agad eh nasa 30+ km/h pa lang..

The clutch on 3rd gear is probably run out. The noise you heard is from the tranny. Possible cause is out of alignment. Better to take care your transmission by changing ATF every 5tKMS and use only ATF Z1. If the problem persist just call me 09194155361

ganon po ba..pero pag D3 po, kumakapit naman ang 3rd gear..saan po ba pwedeng magpaayos ng ganitong mga problema at ano ang dapat ayusin? tsaka san po nakakakuha/nakakabili ng AT fluid Z1? wala po kasi akong gaanong alam sa mga ganito..17 yrs old lang po ako hehehe..pasensya na sa dami ng tanong..

pasali na rin sa thread na to. i have the same car model and i'm having serious problem with the car.

a month ago, super traffic because of the rain so drive-neutral-drive. i stop for about ten minutes and move for one minute kaya i used the neutral gear. i guess that was a mistake because after 2 hours of driving, i noticed that my car was stuck in 20 km/h even at 5K rpm. i stopped at a nearby gas station and let the car rest. ewan ko anong effect but it seems to be ok after that.

the following day, i changed the atf and it was working fine until today. i replaced my servo and repaired the a/c because of low idling and high pressure. walang kinalaman sa transmission? pero when i got out of the shop, my reverse was rough and the transmission is making weird noises even when parked. sabi nung mechanic, bihira lang daw ako magreverse so wag na lang daw namin galawin.

on my way to the office, 30 kms away from my home, my transmission began to slip. kahit D4, D3, or 2, same effect. 20 km/h at 4-5K. siguro naka sampung patay ako ng makina para lang mag"reset." no matter how hard i revved, walang effect.

should i replace my transmission? is there any relationship between servo and tranny? i'm disheartened coz there were no signs of a tranny failure before this. i regularly change my atf and there are no signs of leak even now.

hope you can advise me on what else can i check or is there a reputable mechanic that you can suggest. appreciate your help tsikot gurus.

it would be best to visit the shops ghosthunter posted above. mahirap kasi mag diagnose ng sakit ng auto kung dito lang.

if you're from the north you could have it checked at forcedspeed in qc. just google them na lang for contact details
