January 18th, 2009 11:50 PM #1Hi! I was wondering if someone can help me..
I have a Chery QQ car (manual)
3 months pa lang ung car, and since nakuha ko siya sa casa, i had difficulty switching gears.. then lately narealize ko (sorry, newbie lang kasi) na in order for me to switch gears, like for example neutral to first, eh i have to full step on the clutch pedal (which is also hard to press)...
so aun., matigas ung clutch, after 1-2 hrs of driving masakit na sa paa... and also once i shift to first gear, mga 1 inch lang ang clearance ng pedal pagrelease mo, eh tatakbo na ung sasakyan..
So i went to a auto shop, and pina adjust ko ung clutch .. nanibago ako, kasi ngaun super lambot na siya, and it takes about halfway the distance para tumakbo ung vehicle, as in hindi mo na kailangan isagad ung clutch, kahit halfway mo lang tapakan, the gears would shift smoothly..
QUESTION IS, OK LANG BA YUN? hindi ba masama effect nun? Kasi i used to own a motorcycle before, and pag niambutan mo ung clutch, nawawala ang acceleration... but then wala naman akong napansin na pagbabago sa car...
pls. help.. thanx!

It would still be best if you depress the clutch fully while changing gears.
