    Guys,
anybody familiar on how this is done? I plan to have my brake and clutch fluid re-filled para bago ulit. Here's what ive read sa manual so far...pls correct me if i'm wrong:

    1. Use DOT 3 brake fluid for both brake and clutch --tama po ba? Do i just tell the store to give me a DOT3 fluid? ano maganda brand?

    2. Clean filler cap of brake fluid before opening--ano ibig sabihin nito?

Lastly, is this supposed to be done talaga on a regular basis? Takot kasi ako baka dangerous. My friends mechanic will do the labor and I want to know the things I should watch out for.

    Thanks!!!

    :D

Simple lang ang process na yan just bleed the brakes sa ibaba, sa clutch mas simple yung secondary master lang ang bleed.

Cleaning the cap means clean mo lang yung takip ng brake and clutch reservoir.

In 30 mins pwedeng matapos na ang pag bleed ng clutch and brakes.

    Djerms,

Malakas kumain ng pintura ang brake fluid... i guess thats the only dangerous thing you have to look out for.

Re: Yung tinext mo sakin na Q... mga 90 bucks lang isang maliit na bote. i used the cheapo "Sure Brake" brand. Ok naman my car still brakes hehehe :D

    goodluck pare!

    Djerms,
Get "branded" Dot3 brake fluid, eg, prestone, bendix. You'll find prestone at true value- think it's even imported from US.

Replace both fluids every 2 yrs at the latest or when color becomes dark.

    PK,
Thanks for the tip  Hindi

    Yellow,
Thanks, sandali lang pala un palitan. I might not replace my clutch fluid nalang muna since kakareplace lang daw nun according to my dad. Hows ur L200 nga pala? Mine runs smoother and more powerful after pouring Biodiesel .

    Jackaroo,
I might get prestone nalang. How much ba ang prestone? By the way, ilang liters ang kailangan ko to fill up to the max level?

    Thanks :D

    Djerms,
