Automatic transmission vs. Slight flood

Hello guys..nagbbalak kasi akong bumli ng A/T na 2nd hand car...then my friend who owns an A/T car said na nasira daw ang kotse nya kasi dnrive nya daw ito sa slight lang na baha...I dunno how slight it is though..tz sabi nya nasira kagad ang.uhhhmm what do you call that? Computer Box ba un?? hehe sorry ndi ako techy pa maxado sa car eh...well anywies...is this true though??dnrive lang sa slight na baha eh nasira kagad ang comp box nya and he has to spend like 8k just to fix this??

Also if this is true..ganu naman kataas ang baha bago masira ung comp box na yan..like fender high ang baha or something.. Thanks much in advance guys.. cheers!!

Kung computer box na yun, hindi na SLIGHT flood. Baka ONDOY na. :/

In most cars, the ECU would either be located at the higher portion of the engine bay or level with the console box inside the cabin. Either way, a flood to reach that high is definitely NOT a "slight" flood. It would already have passed the middle of the wheel.

ohhh..ok..then maybe my friend was exaggerating though...so it is suppose to be that high before it damages the computer box huh...thanks much for the replies guys..appreciate it....now I know..
