    Hello mga fellow tsikoters..

    Gusto kolang malaman kung ano siguru possible problem ng transmission ko...

    93 corolla 1.6 GL oto ko...pag nasa 3th gear or 4th gear...minsan nakakalimutan ko tapakan yung clutch para ilagay sa neutral, tinulak kolang yung kambyo at umusog naman siya pa neutral...

    kala ko nagkataon lang..minsan inulit ko...pag naka 3rd and 4th gear siya...takbo ko mga nasa 70 to 80kph, dumulas din...pero sa 1st, 2nd and 5th fear hinde siya ganun...

    ok naman yung hatak niya...wala naman kalampag..

    any tips and advise will be greatly appreciated...

    again, again, again. YOu mean to say na shi-shift mo siya from any gear to neutral without stepping on the clutch? pede yun. Now anu yun dumulas, yun clutch disc mo nag slide ba, yun ba feel mo?

    there is nothing worng with your transmission. the clutch is for synchronizing the gears of your tranny when shifting. the gears can always be disengaged even without stepping on the clutch. kaya lang di mo ma-shift sa neutral in other gears e kasi sa 1st and 2nd mataas ang torque sa engine side so more effort to disengage an engaged gear. sa 5th naman overdrive yun, mataas naman ang torque sa drive shaft side.

    ang masama e kung na-disengage siya ng di mo naman ginagalaw ang kambyo, because that means worn out na ang synchronizer gear.

    ganito problema ng owner namin dati...lagi ko hawak ang kambio hehehehe kumakalas kc eh

    I think what your saying is that engage ka sa 3rd or 4th and you just slip the shifter toward neutral without pressing the clutch, tama? Pag lagi mo ginagawa ito there is a possibility much later. na magrelease na lang siya magisa without you doing anything at all like what sir Yebo is saying. The teeth of the gears will wear and meshing will have larger gaps causing vibration. One purpose of the clutch is to loosen the gears from load to prepare release.

    sir, ok lng po yun kng mababa lng naman yng engine speed/revs mo pg nagagawa mo yun. pero pag mataas revs mo ska mo tutulak yng kambyo baka hindi sumakto yng timing ng synchro e baka mabungi sya. dun cgurado mgkakaproblema ka na

    ok lan yan kahit saan sasakyan pwede yan at kahit nasa 2nd and fifth pa yan magagalaw mo pa din yan kahit di ka tumapak sa neutral

    ang masama bumibitaw ang kambyo mo kahit sa gear hindi mo naman ginagalawa e mag neneutral

    you can pop the gear into neutral talaga even without stepping on the clutch.
