hi peeps car is toyota vios, kaka 1 year pa lang last week and 4 thou kms pa lang tinatakbo...ndi naman ako clutch driver.... and i notice recently that after driving view kilometers ( the engine gettin hotter), nag sq squeak yung clutch ko kapag binibitaw...
bakit ganun? ,....any suggestions?... or meron na kayong same experience katulad sa akin... thanks
meron pa naman 3 years, 100 thou kms...
by the way masama ba talaga pag ndi gaano nagagamit ang car... at least kun once a week i-start then patakbuin ng few kms. oks na diba?...
it creates a sound when depressing the clutch pedal when the engine is hot.... pero kapag malamaig ang engine wala itong sound...medyo weird noh ?...
yup, cable clutch ang vios, pero i'm wondering kun bakit kapag mainit lang ang makina or running it around 8 kms. tsaka lumalabas yung ingay, and it only happened recently...
Maybe engine heat dries up the the lubrication inside those cables? Re-greasing it would be an alternative way. Or try wrapping an electrical tape or some tape that could provide better insulation from heat around the cable exterior.
Had the same problm with my Honda Civic.
While the car is parked, try and trace on what
part in the engine it is coming from. I traced
mine inside a rubber boot in the transmission
(rubber boot had a slight tear). Sprayed WD40
inside but after a few week later, it squeeked again. Put some Singer oil in it and its been
quiet eversince. Try it.
