    pag puro city driving lang ,
    2 passenger lang.hindi rin pataas or pababa ang road
    at wala naman dapat i overtake ..pwede puro "D" ?

    kahit saan, 95% of the time od-on at nasa D ka lang.. para tumagal matic mo....kasi pag nag floor ka ng gas pedal, bababa ng 1 gear yun...depende nalang kung ung bagong electronic a/t or cvt...basta, wala lang pupuntahan D(at N kung trapik) ka lang till makadating ka sa paroroonan mo..

    others(o/d-off,2,L or 1..+/- sa mga semi auto) are on case-to case basis...

    Ang tanong about the Grade Logic. Ano ba talaga ito? How does this differ from the conventional ATs? Di ba yung mga lumang AT's din naman ang nagdedecide kung anong gear ang dapat when climbing uphill? Di ko talaga gets whats it for.

    Ako I only use 3, 2, and L when going down a slope. Kung paakyat, D lang. The AT tranny decides na what gear to shift into.

    as i know, computer programming yan...may sensors kasi for gas pedal pressure, braking, etc...

    siya bahala magadjust, pero kung small slopes(littel baguio,etc..pag nasa antipolo ka na, wag lang sa sumulog/ ung pababa sa ortigas) lang try mo..D ka lang...di masyado mag-gegearhunting mang a/t mo...

    How about pagtawid sa baha in an AT car? What's the best way to do it? Assuming, no-choice ka na...

    I know sa MT, make sure to keep the revs up para hindi ma-choke ang engine pagnatakpan na ng tubig ang exhaust mo. Pano kng AT?

    2 or L/1...stanby left foot sa brake, strady, but slowly ka sumugod sa baha.. anticipate stupid pedestrans na biglang tatawid... but before ka lumusong, sa malayo tumigin ka, kung hangang saan ang tubig na mga nasa harap mo, tanchahin mo..kung di kaya, itabi mo muna, bago ka sumalubong sa mga kasbayan mo.

    kung sa major roads, kung kotse ka lang, be sure sumunod ka sa malalking sasayan, particularly BUS!

    Correction lang po: Mali po yung revs up crossing. Actually, dapat iwasan niyo po tapakan ang clutch at all cost para hindi macontaminate ng tubig yung contact between clutch disk and flywheel. Na-discuss na po iyan sa ibang threads.

    Just wait for the area to be crossed to clear then cross at a steady speed.

    The engine makes enough pressure even at idle, to eject water (wala naman tayo sa depth of 100meters). Medyo nakakatakot lang kasi muffled yung sound when the exhaust system is underwater.

    But for people who ford water on a regular basis (e.g. off-roaders), nasasanay na din na no-clutch while in water and nagkaka-confidence na na hindi mamamatay engine even if the exhaust is hard to hear (dahil lubog na).

    noong di ko yan alam, ganyan gingawa ko, clutching and revving...ayun, basa ang clutch, di makakambyo pagkaahon...for m/t..

    sa a/t stanby ka lang sa brake, the 2 or 1 ka for a slow and steady go....horn if possible on corners and pag may mga taong lumusong...
