what if, i swapped in a full-time AWD tranny on my liteace(most new 3c-t have full-time awd), to remove the 4wd lever and switch, but i will retain the manual front hubs..

in theory, naisip ko, kung nilock ko ung manual hubs, 4wd na ako, pag nasa free, 2wd ako, tama ba theory ko? mawawala lang is ung "4-LOW" gear...pero ok lang...

what do you think, may nakagawa na kaya ng ganito?

Ha? I think you are better off not doing anything in your present setup. That's what they are designed for. Of course I'd still go for Manual Hubs since it is tough to break unless you're driving central diff lock Defender.

example ko kasi liteace 4wd ko...part timer ngayon to...pero what if palitan ko ng full-time awd system(those found in toyota lite/townace noahs)

isipin nyo?

it just struck me lang kasi...why not, diba? or may naka-isip, gumawa pero may masama/di maganda ang nangyari....

Of course yung AWD Land Cruiser ay may lever pa din for 4L.

Bakit mo gusto mawala yung lever?
