    2. Never step out of the vehicle.

    3. Lock all doors. Only visual search is allowed.

    4. Do not submit to a physical or body search.

    5. You are not obliged to open glove compartment, trunk or bags.

    Better wag ka na lang mag travel sa gabi at as much as possible itaon mo na marami kang kasabayan na mga sasakyan.

    what i usually do are:
    dim the HL's, turn on the dome lights, open up the window and greet them "good evening sir"
    after a few silip in my car...they will let me go.

    Police officers must observe plain view doctrine especially in checkpoints. Their authority are limited to visual search..

    may na kwento saken yung brother ko... yung kasamahan nya hinabol ng AFP checkpoint kasi may hinahanap sila na daanan dun sa pupuntahan nila yung check point mga 200 meters pa siguro ang layo.. eh bigla silang lumiko dun sa pupuntahan nila.. hinabol sila nung mga sundalo kasi akala nila umiiwas sila sa check point... hehe eh mga contractor pa naman sila ng cell sites so madami silang dalang equipment na mukhang pang terrorista hehe

    turn off headlights.. leave park lights on
    turn on dome light inside..
    move slowly..

    yan lang ginagawa ko.. never pa naman ako pinahinto..

    what i normally do when passing check points at night, slow down, open lights and windows. pag ganon pinapa bayaan na ako ng mga pnp/afp at sasabihin sa akin good evening po sir tuloy na po kayo. so far never been asked to stop naman.

    that is if you will pass.. kaya ingat din kayo sa mga biglang liko kung may malapit na check point kasi nga tendency nila habulin kayo kasi ba iniiwasan nyo sila...

    nung galing ako sa baguio gamit yung suzuki scrum van, pinabuksan nung sundalo yung bintana nung sasakyan.. pag bukas eh lumabas yung mabangong amoy ng TUPIG na binili ko... napa lunok na lang yung sundalo eh.. mukhang nagutom hehehe

    ok, somewhere in Camiling, Tarlac... approaching a checkpoint:
    My kids: Daddy, merong 100 / 200 peso bills diyan sa coin pocket.
    Me: Heh! Magsitigil nga kayo! Hindi 'yan mga ASBUwaya! At saka Lancer dala natin, hindi Crosswind!

    Always be calm and drive slowly... usually naman open lights, windows (if tinted)... silip, silip lang naman nila

    Isa sa mga advantages ng hindi tinted ang windows ng auto is etong mga checkpoints. Usually, malayo pa lang ako nagsisignal na yung mga pulis na pwede na ako dumerecho. Another thing is maliwanag din sa loob ng kotse dahil sa underglow sa mga ilalim ng upuan at pedals. Pag dumadaan ako hinihinaan ko lang sounds ko tapos patay ng headlights. Never ever avoid a checkpoint lalo na pag nakita ka na nila na paparating. Best option kung kailangan talaga iwasan is maghanap ng establishment na pwede pagparadahan like convenience store, drug store or resto. One time meron ako kakilala na hinabol hanggang sa loob ng subdivision namin na tinakbuhan checkpoint dahil lang sa wala sila suot na helmet. Di man lang nagisip na baka bigla sila ratratin kung mapagkamalan na holdaper sila.

    Grabe talaga!!! Ang sama talaga ng image ng mga ASBU sa Makati.
    Ang tingin tuloy ng mga bata sa mga TE or any uniformed guy on the roads is ASBU na.

    Grade school kids and alam na agad nila kung saan naka- puwesto ang mga ASBU.
    What pissed me off is who the hell told them about this "lagay- lagay" :mad:
