jackndabox29::: I'm currently subscribed to Professional Plan of PLDT DSL service, they have claimed it has 256Kbps speed. Gamit kong hub yung modem na mismo. Currently sharing 2 computers online. Minsan bumabagal ang connection pagsabay nakaconnect during peak hours. WinRoute 4.2.4 gamit ko, from a cracked software I downloaded thru the net.
The only downside I guess is the mIRC, kahit saan server disconnected lagi, misconfigured daw.

Manual configured tong akin 192.168.0.1 port: 3128.
Dati direct lan-lan ang setup without winroute, pwede makakonek kahit saan. I tried to use the DSL modem as a hub kaso di naman detected ng server na may network. I had to setup winroute to be able to connect the other network.

Yup, sa Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties. click on Use the following IP address IP address: 192.168.0.1 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: Leave this blank. Then on the DNS server addresses Leave them blank also. Then click OK.
You will also need to set your networked pc browsers. Click on Tools>>>Internet Options>>>Connections Tab>>>LAN Settings>>>Check box on Proxy server. Place your network IP on the box and the port number 3128. No need to check the box Bypassproxy server for local addresses. Click OK, then another OK and close all your IE browsers. Check any website for correct settings. :D

since dynamic IP addresses ang gamit sa mga PLDT MyDSL personal/professional plan, just leave it on Server Assigned IP Address para lang di magka problem.
then Specify DNS/NBNS server addresses
Primary DNS is 203.172.11.26
Secondary DNS is 202.57.96.4
hope that helps

HARDWARE
1. 5/8 switch or hub(better because all cables have the same configuration and is more flexible for expansion)
*switch is much faster than a hub* d ko lang alam kung gano kalayo agwat ng presyo nla... kc ung sakin switch.
2. Wireless LAN interface - Never tried before... Wala kc akong alam and mahal... Good thing about this is walang kalat and butas...
3. (if switch or hub is no option) LAN card for both PCs
*cheaper than option 1, but connecting a 3rd or more computer is imposible*
Note: be sure that all devices are 10/100 spec kasi sabi mo kailangan mo pang gaming... u may also choose the 1 Gigabit specs but is bit expensive pero faster data transfer pero tingin ko ok na ung 10/100
SOFTWARE

Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
