You'd just have to be very careful before buying a car, or buying anything for that matter, online.

I've been hunting for a "bargain used car" on OLX for the past 3 months -- para sana ngayong rainy season.

Last Monday, I saw a 2002 Crosswind XTO that's being sold for only 145,000 Pesos. Text ako agad kasi it's a diesel, and it's an automatic!

My finding: marami na raw papunta sa bahay nya to check the unit. If I want to get prioritized, mag-money transfer daw ako (3,000 Pesos).

The ending: I just laughed it out and told my fiancee's brother to try talking to the "seller." We concluded bogus seller yun. Pero until now I'm wondering kung kanino yung Crosswind na ginamit nya for creating that OLX ad.

    prioritize?
i regularly peruse these ads, and... some of those cars have been in the ads for months now.
besides, who in his right mind, will plunk down good money, sight unseen?

with today's technology, it could be anyone's car. and the real owner does not even know.
tapos, a little adobe here... palitan ang plaqa numero... voila! instant car for sale!

Meron pang iba-iba ang nagbebenta with the same car pero magkakaiba ang location.

    Ako man natawa doon.

Anyway, yung nabili ko di pa registered nung pinuntahan ko. Eh 5 and ending plate number so dapat May pa? Wala kaya akong maging problema dito? Not yet keen on transferring ownership to my name pa at the moment.

Just have a copy of the DOS in the car along with the registration so you have proof that you've purchased the car.
